The series is awesome as a history stand point, in color. But I have to question its replay over and over again on American networks(History Channel). My beef is this. When, I go to other countries. The channels and even their history channels are not war war war. It seems American T.V is militarized. I understand it is our history, but someone has to get my point. Replaying; violence, war and glorification of violence. Can’t be good for the brain. When your brain/mind replays. Does it know it’s real or not? In my opinion, your brain sub conscious doesn’t know the difference. It takes your consciousness to recognize it is not real. Reason I believe this by taking 2-3 grams of molly/MDMA(depending on weight) after long exposure to gaming, and ultra violence. If the subject loses control of consciousness and thought patterns, sub consciousness will take over. Replaying past events not being able to control thought and action.But back on subject Series good, WWII bad, replay bad.

Biggest reason is RATINGS! If people want war they will get war! But the History Channel in my opinion is far from being over militarized. They have many great archaelogical shows along with shows like Modern Marvels, Ice Road Truckes, Ax Men, etc...

I think it makes a great arguement for why we used the nukes, when folks say "the U.S. is the only country to use one". The use of those nukes saved countless lives on both sides. When you are suffering one casulty for one kill and the enemy refuses to give up I think it was the only choice that could be made. As far as the History channel they have a wierd format that plays the same subject over and over for a time, then switches to a new subject.

yo that series is fucking great!!!!!!!! i have been watching it all week long. high has hell..... that was the last great war, and the people that fought in it were damn well near superhero's. that shit was in your face death all the time. they even showed pics of japs and americans that died in a death struggle!!!!! our fathers fathers were some bad mother fuckers....... and i now have a new found respect for the military....ATLEAST OF THAT ERA!!!!!! it was ww2 that made us great!!!
