7 beans, 10 beans, 20 beans, 50 beans, doesn't matter if i have no interest in the strain or the breeders. the other promo was 3 beans correct, but ive wanted to try some DNA/RP gear for awhile now...
as far as switching Regs to Fems, well that only upset me more as i try very hard not to ever grow feminized seed
PS- just to add, im not knocking attitude or the promo, and im sure for a lot of people this promo is awesome. all im saying that is compared to my personal expectations, and experiences with attitudes promos, as well as with the gear i prefer (non fem), this promo was not for me. thats all
i will still use attitude for everything as soon as i finish making christmas happen

Attitude is great for selection and big name. If you get your beans and they germ well, then you're set. If something goes wrong with your order however, IMO, you are fucked. "eehhh u didn't pay for guaranteeed shipping" or "contact the breeder" MUCH MUCH MUCH better customer service to be found out there. (i.e. Sannies, Nirvana)
FYI. I'd be way more impressed if the Freebie was a 10 pack of TGA Jilly Bean.

you wanna talk about bad seeds.....the summer promo sucked ass..i jumped on it cause you cant pass it up. here we go pexpress wont grow over a foot. sour cream long and skinny. buku kush good. hash plant reg 1 month 6 inches tall..reserva cheese good. chonnie chung i killed and there was something else cause i think there were 9 freebees oh well. i decided to give sannies a shot..got me some extrema and new blue diesel. cant wait to grow some real shit instead of these bullshit seeds. i wanted to clone the p express. oh well keep pumpin them seeds out and keep makin that money.

HA! ive received strains/breeders's gear that i had no interest in till i grew it out then i was sold on it. so sometimes it pays to purchase during the freebie promotions.
also why do you prefer not to grow fem beans? i hope its not because you think fem's are hermie prone (ive grown 30 or so fem beans and had only 1 hermie but it was from GHS so yeah...lol)
amen to being a seed collector. i wanna eventually grow every strain at least once...i got a long road to go.
oh i had the freebie sour cream myself but i killed it off after it only reached 5 inches after a month under t5's while the rest of my strains under t5's were 1ft. it was a runt that gave me nothing but trouble. i may have to try them again
the summer promo was good to me. i still have many of my freebies left. i do have the confidential cheese 1 1/2 months in veg. doing quite nice. doesnt like topping though (i tired twice so far but it wont branch out like the others i have in veg but thats ok...good candidate for SOG) the only shitty one was the sour cream so far (runt)

I'm not saying that the freebies cant be gems, i know they can. and i also know that by growing out these seeds by breeders i personally don't know about, I'm opening myself up to the possibility of finding new gems that i haven't found or maybe haven't even seen before. I'm with you on all that, and again, i never complain about free stuff. it's just that for me personally i really liked the December promo and i personally expected attitude's Christmas/new year promo to better (and by better, i mean i expected attitude to read my mind like Ms Cleo, so they know exactly what i want and expect
) I'm not even saying it's a bad promotion, it's just not something that makes me personally jump out of my seat and instantly place an order to get in on the promo.as far as fem seeds, there's a couple reasons i don't like them. firstly, i don't know which feminization methods are deployed by which seed makers and that worries me. secondly, i enjoy working with male plants very much, as i have a "men's' room" and a "ladies' room" and spend equal energy giving love to both because when i find a great strain nothing pisses me off more than not having a male of the strain. and yes i know, clones. and i have them as well, but just in case i lose my clones, i want seeds as a back up. also, as an amateur pollen chucker, i thoroughly enjoy using my males to make seeds, and then growing out those seeds to see how my male effected the finished product.
now don't get me wrong, some strains are just not going to be available in regular form because they are specific phenos preserved as a clone, thats fine. some strains i will have to take as fem seeds if i want them in my garden, and I've accepted that

I agree that you dont know what fem methods they used...that can be a pain as ive gotten some that were obviously bred from a natural hermie instead of a CS induced one as i found lots of hermies in a 5-10pack before. sucks.
