Xanax???

So i took a .5 mg xanax last night at about 11 PM. I woke up today to find i have a drug test. I have about 8 hrs until the drug test. Is it possible to get the xanax out of my system by drinking water?

i dont care if i dilute i just dont want a positive.

I wish I could help, I take xxanax for anxiety as needed, .25 mg. ....only .50 mg, that is also a small dose, what kind of test could you possibly be worried about showing that? I am just curious, because since when is xxanx alone something bad? If it is not presribed to you, simply tell them in advance you might find xxanax in my system, because you took one that a friend had after you had an anxiety attack last night....that you just found out that is what you have been having lately & you actually need to go to the doctor to get your own prescription for if & when you need them.

I don't take Xanax so I wouldn't know but, I wouldn't say anything about it unless they do. They might not even be looking for it in your system.

im on probation. I know i shouldnt have but they have never tested on a weekend.

no way possible.. benzo's have a super long half life, meaning they stay in your system for about two weeks or so.. sorry to say, but your screwed..

it may not be illicit, but they sure as hell test for benzo's, and unless he has a script.....

When I had a drug test taken for work a few years ago my xanax didn't pop up and I then mentioned it to the tester (I was on xanax by a doctor). He said that doesn't show up on his tests.

dilute it so you have to go back]
