xbox 360 live?

so, i have never been a big xbox fan, i never really played it like talkin about..

but iv played it alot l8ly, and ima get one soon. but i have some ?s

how does the live play shit work? can i play on line w/ dail up? if not.. could i downlaod shit 4 my xbox with dail up?

iv never been in 2 the xbox, so i dont kno shit about them, iv always been a PS player myself!!

but the 360 is sick as hell, i didn tkno witch 1 2 go with, the 360 or the ps3..

but the 360 has more games id like 4 it.

I would say you could play, but i'm sure you would lag out the ass, and it would take you twice as long as a normal connection to find a game (so 20-30 minutes)

Get the ps3 because it has wireless and you can just steal your neighbors connection.Dial up doesn't have a modem for it does it?dont you just plug it straight into a phone outlet?You need a modem to plug the xbox ethernet cable into a normal phone line is to small.Ps3 also has better games and the internet browser and shit like that.It would be faster to use the ps3 internet browser on your neighbors connection then it would be using a computer with dial up,and the playstation network is also free cant really beat that.

If you're getting one just for the xbox live... i wouldn't waste my money. High speed internet is pretty much a must. I remember using dial up on ps2... you could barely finish a game without getting knocked off.

Go with a 360. Although it cost 50 bones a year compared to playstation being free, it is totally worth it. As for using a dial up connection, I dont see that working too well. Anything worth downloading online takes long enough with a solid connection. I would imagine it'd be wicked slow for you. XBOX has better games and online gameplay. PS3 has a weaker online but the blueray player is fuckin sick and the system runs very quiet. whatever floats your boat

ps3 all the way lol I had a 360 n it sucked ass. the live thing is stupid cuz u gota pay n its not wireless unless u pay another 100 for the adapter n u also have to buy a seperate thing to watch hd movies on. theirs to many things u have to buy speratly to make it half as good as the ps3.

I really liked my xbox untill it broke on me 3 times after sending it back time after time.
Xbox live really isn't worth the 50 a year either the only thing you really get thats good is cross game voice chat everything else is the same as ps3.I hope microsoft dont fuck up the new xbox they make by charging for online and making them defective.
