Xbox 360 - Project Natal

hi,

did a quick search on rollitup and found no other threads relating to this subject. So I thought I'd post one!

Anyway....



Project Natal - Looks awesome, but will it be as good as it looks?

If you don't know what I'm talking about then i shall do my best to explain....

It was at E3 this year when xbox decided to reveal it.

The idea of it is to make the xbox entirely interactive without the use of the controller. You use your entire body and voice to control the xbox.

I hope it is as good as it is made out to be.

Looks promising? but who knows, usually these things aren't as good as you would hope

wow, that looks really cool. It makes me wonder what the world will be like 20 years from now when this is completely outdated.

still not enough to convince me to get a 360.

I prefer the 360 myself...too each his own. I've owned a Wii and PS3 and never again will purchase them.

PS3 controller still sucks(way to small and outdated by say...9 years or so)

Nintendo's online game setup and their storage system is terrible.

My 360 is doing it all for me, great online setup, great arcade games, great games in general, soon to be Last.fm streaming, Project Natal, Facebook infusion, etc etc

Yeh same here, there's no weight In a ps3 controller seems weird after Using a chunky ass xbox controller, plus there getting sky on xbox aswell which is sick!

You forgot the fact that you can stream media directly from your computer to your xbox easy as pie.

just set my media center up! works nice.....

Apparently EA have managed to "max" out the 360.

But they haven't managed to max out the PS3......Yet!

Here's what i was talking about: Electronic Arts: We've maxed out the Xbox 360

Fuck EA. Talentless hacks. Show me one original IP that those fuckwits are coming up with that does not look like it sucks.

EA can go fucking die. Fucking shit company.

Just take a look at Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Forza 3, etc etc to see if the system is "maxed out" They are still improving on PS2 games!

I was discussing this idea for the system. You could buy accessories for your favorite game in real life then you could apply them to the system and get special powers or something.

Example - Shootem up games like Halo. You could preorder it and get a special molded gun or a barcode or something and you scan it into the game and you get to use said special weapon. Or like in left 4 dead you get a barcode for a chainsaw or something to slice up undead with. Something you wouldnt otherwise get in the game.

should try Combat Arms for the PC. I has exactly those features (even if the graphics are very 2004.).
