xmas 79 vs pine tar kush

has anyone run one or both of these from csi humboldt, to describe the two? im looking for pine taste and smell.

A little while back the people in the useful seeds thread were going off about how great 79 Xmas tree bud was, back when he was releasing some crosses of it. He got that from the same guy as CSIH (NDN Guy). Pine tar kush on the other hand here in Canada is actually pretty common, but honestly I've never met a person who tried it and liked it. Although I've never actuaĺly smoked either I'd definitely go with the Christmas tree since at least some people recommend it.

I've run Pine Tar Kush from Tom Hill, twice, for a total of 4 plants. 3 were outdoors. My first 1 , 2 years ago was a beautiful 8 ft plant that was very piney, sticky and tasty! I haven't met anyone who tried it that didn't like it! I haven't found any other plant that was that piney, but my subsequent plants were not as piney as the first one, so there will be some variation.

@mandocat maybe the stuff in Canada started out from similar beans but was worked in a different direction. Maybe you all do have some worthwhile PTK down there.

My PTK was purchased directly from Tom Hill about 2000. My friend kept them as an IBL before giving them to me 3 years ago.
