Alright lets take this serious now guys, scientists have suggested that the end of the world may be just around the corner. What do you have to say about all this?

Oh it's a load of bull. The world isn't going anywhere... there will be no polar shifts or comets of doom or other cataclysms of horrific nastiness. Just chill out and toke up... the future isn't going to be pleasant (just look at the state of the world today)... but there will be a future. And that's something, right?

its only the end of the mayan calendar. then i guess its starts at the beggining again.

will not watch because the begining sucks. and since the begining is the part that is supposed to grab you and make you watch the rest, i can only expect the hole thing blows.

side note.

i wonder how many times a day this douche bag claims he was "struck by lightning" even though he wasnt.

Obviously no one's watched even a part of it yet. I tried to be objective so we could have a fair discussion about it but I'll go on with my view.

Theres a bunch of jazz about the government blah blah whatever enough of that shit. It leads up to a discussion about our existence and the science behind it. I agree that the world is going no where, it isnt going to blow up, the poles may/may not be shifting (but the thread title would catch some viewers). We're entering a Golden Age and it is a good thing to be alive, let me get that message across....

Just watch it, we can't keep living in our comfortable bubbles worrying about money and materialistic possessions. Always keep an open eye and ear to new knowledge especially if we're talking about a whole new level of science.

Let me grab part of the script for you guys... this is getting down to spoon feeding. Hopefully you'll get an idea of what i'm trying to talk to you about.

Dude are you unconcious of what I'm talking about? because im NOT talking about death. the thread title was to attract your attention and we're here to seperate truth from myths about 2012.

All it took was 20 minutes of your time and we wouldn't have to go through this and could talk about something greater and more intellectual

Dude, chill. Have another bonghit. Everybody's got their own opinion on it, and have come to their conclusions by all kinds of different means. That's just the way it is.

Btw, did you happen to watch the series of videos I posted? What did you think of them? Touches on many of the same points, facts, and possible explanations. If not, I think you'd really enjoy it based on your enthusiasm on the subject.:peace:

Even if the world ends in some sort of catacalysmic event, it would be cool to watch i bet......i mean, since your about to get roflstomped by the apocalypse anyway you have to agree it would be pretty cool to see an event like that go down.....

If you think about it, it would be the worst for the guys on the spacestation lol....

i had a good laugh coming into it b/c it looked corny but the context was beyond what i thot it would be. at times it was hard to understand because of all the scientific terms but u catch the message they try to deliver
give the guy a break n just chyllllll and learn more about ourselves aside from what u learn in school

nope nothing about an apocalypse of any form hahah but they did talk about us moving through time not in the sense of 24 hours in a day but were moving through time in the sense that we can accomplish a lot more in 24 hours and thats the new outlook on time? i duno kinda hard for an average guy like me to explain when im high as a kite

With so many factors combining, I think something is going to happen in 2012. Not sure what.

The earth is gearing up some badass natural disaters, people are disgruntled, it wouldn't take much for a disease to explode across the planet killing people.

I think life as we know it will end, no, that doesn't mean life will end, just life as we are accustomed to it. I wouldn't be surprised if something killed off over half the people on the planet.

It makes me think of a rubber band, when you wind one up on a toy. You get to the point where it is so tightly wound that you can just barely wind it, but you keep winding it, carefully all the while holding your breath hoping that you don't go a little to far and break it.

That is where the earth is, we're in those final twists.

I'm going to live my life and not even recognize this. I bet nothing will happen and the people who did recognize this threw their lives in to upheaval for no reason.
