Yekke Seeds - Golden Diesel breeding log

Hello ladies and gentlemen!

I am Yekke and this is my breeding log for my strain - Golden Diesel.

I'm coming from Israel, where Golden Diesel is somewhat spread around and gained its reputation in the last 2 years.
After a big number of major potheads made the Golden Diesel their only variety of weed for almost as long as its been around I decided to stabilize it into seed form.
I'm working on this strain for 3 years now and moved from all the bigger things completely into making these seeds possible.

I got a nice small lab going with a 2.4x1.2x2.0 m tent to do a selection run. Weeding out the weak, the male etc. I ended up with 20 plants to consider as potential moms for the next generation and I got pollen from the best males.
I am now smoke testing each plant to determine the best options and there is a lot of variety, which is great

What size pots did you use? And what lights?

I used 3.6L pots of coco (By Canna I think) and an automated fertigation system (2x 2L/h drippers for each plant in a Run to Waste system) based on House and Garden A+B and Atami Bloombastic. I used 2x Sylvania Grolux 600W lights with Lumatek digital ballasts and 6" air cooled reflectors.

New tent is set with organic soil beds and a 1000W.
Cut #15 was chosen to fill the beds, she was a very nice phenotype, alongside #10 which I'm vegging to take clones from.
