yellow brown leaves. nitrogen def.??

Leaves on one of my clones is turning yellow and brownish on the bottom set of leaves. It slowly started maybe a week ago and is slowly spreading. the leaves start off dark green then yellow and brown and feels crunchy. It's now two days into flowering and nute feeding. Feeding them 5-15-14 nutes. If it is a nitrogen def., is there a way to get it up without buying expensive nutes at the store cause my budget is kinda tight. If not what do i ask for when i go to the hydroponic store? Its my first grow and the clones are a good 12" tall. pls help. thanks

Looks like a nute burn to me, flush it out and just give it fresh water until healthy

i just started feeding it bloom nutes when i changed the light cycle to 12/12 4 days ago. This yellowing of the leaves began about a week to a week and half ago. i figured it would be nitrogen def. so i thought the nutes would help but it seems to be the same/little worse than before the nutes. Anyways how would i perform a flush and what is it? sORRY this is my first grow. any advice would be appreciated. thanks

Hi I have sort of the same problem My big leaves are going dry and the new ones are nice and green untill they get big then they dry out . If any one can help that would be grate im feeding them on neuts now iv mixed it into a big bucket of fresh water. here are some pics....

It means run the plant pot under a tap and rinse it . in other words flushing then let the water drain . then put back (the plant pot with the plant in)

The second picture looks like the plant on the left has nute burn, but the last pic makes me think it's natural. (The plants slowly use up what the fan leaves have been storing and they fall off.) I hope you have flushed the plants and stopped adding the nutes by now to see if that's the problem.

I agree with dragonofweed's post. For next time you could adjust the ph in buckets.

weedweed what kind of lighting do you have and how close is it to the plants? It's either that or nute burn, imo.

exactly just make sure when your flushing the plant that it has enough clearance to drain and the holes are being blocked. I would stack 2-3 bricks on each side so its elevated enough.

hi yes i think its the light because the light was quite close now it nice and high and the leaves are not buring more thanks alot guys
