Yellow fungus of some sort.

I just noticed a yellow fungus of sorts last night when I went to top dress.....20250314_175525.jpg20250314_175909.jpg20250314_175924.jpg

I just wanna know what it is, and if it's detrimental. I dug around in Google a bit, but I didn't really find anything, that at least looked similar.

So i was able to find them on Google by using yellow mushroom, instead of yellow fungus.
The name of it is Leucocoprinus birnbaumi, in case anybody ever needs to know.
It's not detrimental to plants, but it can be poisonous to humans.

It helps break down dead organic matter.

My soils have always had fair share of fungus, mushrooms, but this one was new to me.

Thanks for the help guys!

I did a quick image search. Here’s your culprit, it’s a yellow dildo forest.

Wait, that was the first response. Really it looks like saprophytic fungus, which is harmless and can be scraped off if not wanted, but shouldn’t hurt anything. It could point to overwatering or just humid conditions on the soil surface.
Lol the damn dildos! I should've known, I'm growing tiny penis's. Lol

It was under the earthbox shower cap, so yea, probably super humid under there. I find it extremely difficult to overwater a sip, so I'm going to rule overwatering out.

I believe it's Leucocoprinus birnbaumii, after a google search for yellow mushrooms.

I deleted the post alright after because I realized your answer was correct once I looked the mushroom up. They did remind me of a little yellow dildo forest though, that was my first google search.
