Yellow leaves and fluctuating PH

Hey guys! Something is wrong with my girl and I don’t know what to do. I have her on a 5 gal dwc and I can’t keep her ph stabilized. She keeps rising to about 6.8 or 6.9 after about two days. I’m using advanced nutrients ph perfect and I’m using about 1/3 of the recommended dosage. From my research I was under the impression that I didn’t need to add anything else right now as far as nutrients is concerned since I am using Advanced nutrients. Should I be adding something else into my dwc? I’m not sure what nutrients she is deficient on right now. What should I do? My other plants keep fluctuating with ph as well but they seem to be doing fine.

If your using 1/3 recommended dosage, you should expect to see deficiencies... LMAO Try using the recommended dosage.

When I was doing research everyone has been saying to use 1/3 to 1/2 of the recommended dosage because the 5 gallon bucket is a small reservoir. My other 3 plants are on the same amount of nutrients but they are all looking great. I’m not against upping her nutrient amount tho.

Pretty sure having a smaller reservoir just means you need to change more often, the TDS/PPM shouldn't be any different from a 1,000 gallon reservoir. If your other plants are doing fine with low dosage, then just see how that one does if you up it to ½.

run bacteria and air stone.

make sure your water never reaches more than 69 degree with air stone for oxygenated water.

your problems will go away.
