This is the one that started flowering early and then I noticed her fan leaves were starting to turn yellow and so I panicked and started cutting them off like an idiot cause I should of did more research and found out the root of the issue but then I thought it was nutrients deficiency so I ordered some bloom booster and I feel like it helped slow down the dying leaves but still not sure if that was the problem an theres brown spots on them as well so I thought it was rust spots but they dont rub off fml does anyone have any thoughts they can share plz do! :leaf: :peace:

Later in the flowering season, I usually have lower fan leaves turn yellow. I think the plant reuses the nutrients on new growth up top. It is normal to see some nitrogen defficiency like this when you go to using low N bloom nutrients.

When leaves yellow, I give them a light tug. If they come off, I put them in the compost. If they dont let go, i try again the next day. I usually pull at least 4 or 5 every day in my garden (6 plants)

Also, it's normal to get some faded looking fall colors later in the season.

Just to be extra cautious, check under leaves thoroughly for bug pests.

Good luck! Peace :peace:

It’s normal for fan leaves to yellow as the plant starts flowering. Her plans changed from “grow grow grow” to “get that sticky goo out there and collect pollen” so now the bigger fan leaves aren’t so important, so she dumps them. Usually starting in the middle. I don’t know if this is right but I figure if they are dying they are just blocking valuable airflow so if you grab them near the branch and yank down they pop right off. Edit to add, tug gently not hard. If you don’t they will just fall off on their own in a day two you might as well tidy your garden and add to your compost bin lol

I'm growing sativa named power plant. A seed my friend got from Colorado. She's growing beautifully if I can keep pests away too. Its rough outdoors sometimes :)
