hey im growing 5 white ice strains. im week 3 into flower.
equipment
1.growlite OG hood
2.growlite 600 watt ballast
3. 600 watt growlight bulb
4. NFT table
5. fluro Duo nutrients/ 9 gallons in resevoir/ 1ml of A and 2 ml of B per gallon and I just put in som calMag
6. im using a phat filter and have my hood ventilated
my leaves that are directly under my light have lost there color. I figured my light was too close so i have my plants loosley tied down now, so the light is about 2 ft from plants give or take a few inches. all the leaves that are not right under the light are green, so i am wondering is it a light too close problem, or do i have a nitrogen, or magnesium defficiency? BTW ph is 6.0 to 6.3 and temps are at about 70 with lights on and 60 with lights off. humidity is about 45% to 50%.. one of the pice is before i tied them down and the other is after, you can see how after there isnt as bad of a white glare off the leaves.

Nitrogen diff normaly starts from the bottom up. Mag shows up from the bottom and top normaly and starts inter vein with yellowing then yellow and them red tips. Also mag deffeceny can show brown rusty spots. Is your growth up top slow? Slow up top growth and yellowing normaly is a zink deffeceny. B4 doing anything, up load some photos in a better normaly light. It's hard to tell under hps. But like you said it could be light bleached.

alright man ill do that now. i dont have any red or rusty spots. and its not starting bottom up its only the top leaves and its not within the leaf veins ive had that before. i have my nutes pretty dialed in. this is my first hydro. ive done soil successfully many times and im just wondering if my buds look adequate for week 3 in flower?plus ICE is like. 8 to 10 week flower. the outer branches are lush green, but the branches that were right under the light are yellow and its only the tops. thats why im thinking its the light bleaching out the chloraphyll. ive never had to grow in a confined space so i havnt ever had this problem. let me know what you think man?

height is about 7ft, but it is slanted, its an attic.my light is high as it will go, thats why im LSTn them. I think ive been skimpping on the nitrogen so i just draind my res and replenished the nutes. so ill see how it goes. i still think its light bleach but ill keep posting pics. thanks guys for the replys it is veryyy much appreciated!!!

It looks like either sulphur or iron deficiency or both.

For sulphur, mix in some epsom salts, and for iron, a foliar mist of an iron-rich fertilizer, or put some iron-rich water into your soil.

I'm experiencing the same on a couple of my flowering Chemdawg plants, and was heading to pick up salts today :)

Google sulphur deficiency, you'll get a photo of both sulphur and iron. Look at the diagram . There's to much for me to explain.

I'm going with your light too close theory. Just how close were they, notice you moved them back so light is now approx. 2 ft away which is about right.
