Yellow spots on flowering plant, thought maybe spider mites but not seen

That looks way diff without hps light. Also looks more like mute burn the dark green of some leaves with brown burnt tip. They use less nitrogen in flowering. Nute toxicity will make the affected leaf weak and brittle like you said and die off. If that's the case you would flush, but water helps the time release nutes break down right?? You can't transplant soil, too late. Flush might be all you got?

That second and third pic really looks like heat burn to me. You mentioned the leaves were brittle, that is very likely a sign of heat burn.

You probably already know but spider mite damage tends to start with small pin size light spots and slowly develop into more widespread damage. It could be mites but I would guess that you would see some other tell tale signs before that much area on the leaf was damaged by them.

Edit: At 6 weeks in I agree with flushing and moving the lights a little further away. You should be fine. Nice looking buds btw...

Yea, as I said I've inspected a few of the leaves. No sign of mites anywhere plus they leave small web residue all over, Nothing like that to even hint to spider mites AFAIK. If it's heat burn and not nute burn, what would be the proper things to do besides raising the light higher and hoping for the best?

Also if it's nute burn, with dry nutes what can i do?

After the leaves are damaged by heat they typically will not come back no matter what you do, unless the burn is caught really early. I would try to increase circulation and monitor the temps to make sure more damage doesn't develop. I don't have much experience with dry nutes other than to say a mild flush might help, I will let someone else give you better advice on the dry nutes. Good Luck

Thanks for all you've mentioned :) The plants are resiliant, some survive in desert-ey conditions, I'm sure this one will make it a few more weeks. According to the pics, how are my buds looking? They have a bit of brown so it's in the mature stage towards harvesting, I would think.

The buds look nice to me, especially for 6 weeks in... Doesn't look like they were damaged that much by the heat. What strain are you growing?

It's my first grow. I got an afrodite clone. I started on 2 - 42 watt cfls for the first 2 weeks, then added two more 2 weeks later. It did this all through veg, and then I had enough to buy my 400w HPS at 3 weeks of flowering.

Your buds look good. I'm having a problem with mine flowering. Don't think it's mature enough. Only one I got tho:p bag seed with only a 150w hps. Only ever had one dro seed. Grew so much faster than bag seed. Cropped it to early. Tasted like plant. I was so excited and inpatient lol. This time done right so far..... Is your problem spreading, and how low does it affect the plant?
