yellowing a bit on newish crop need help DWC

My first DWC grow been going pretty good so far. I am a seasoned soil grower. These babies sprouted Feb. 6. Out of 14 plants only a few are showing any signs of a deficiency. Ringo is the most severe and ironically my biggest. Any help/ suggestions/ diagnosis would be greatly appreciated.

SPECS:
-800w DS at veg (partial lights) power 36" from canopy (had an over lighting issue at first, duh)
-Ambient temp 72 deg
-Res temp 66 deg
-Res PH 5.6-5.8 (ideal) drifts to low 6s overnight, checked every 12 hrs
-RH 69% (just did res change spilled some water, normally 60%)
-Co2 600ppm (slight increase with tank and solenoid valve)
-Nutes are Maxigrow 1 tsp ppm is 450
-5 gal buckets
-10" netty pots
-Hydroton
-Fan
-Tap water starts at 7.3 PH and 140 ppm

Wowww I've never seen that before lol. Looks like that new growth is molded or somethin, its got black stuff what appears to be on top of the leaf. Could be part of the leaf idk still never seen that.

Nice to see someone already. I thought it was mold too but it doesnt wipe off? and also those pics are the good ones from 2 days ago. trying to get some currents to come out clear. Soo...lol what do you say bout the yellowing?

I grow soil, so I can only speak for that portion, but the ph is high for one. I keep mine around 6.1 during veg.

Don't listen to God. Your ph is fine. Nitrogen and magnesium deficiency. Your plants are yellowing and purpling when they should be photosynthesizing (greening). Yellowing and purpling shouldn't happen until late, late in bloom when indications of N deficiency in leaves are desired.

And the reason your biggest plant is the yellowest is because it has fed on itself the most to support its greater size. Give it some calmag.

Ok wow i was thinking mag iron or sulfur but wanted more opinions. this place is great. so if i foliar with some epson will that do? and about the purple/ odd color it is purple right? my eyes have a hard time ajusting with that led on. (off for pics ofcourse) and as for the N deff are you sure? i started out with too many nutes so i cut it in half thats why im at about 310 not including my water

I would skip the foliar feeding of epsom and use calmag.

There's a balance of NPK numbers associated with all nutes. Increasing the dose of a deficient ratio wouldn't necessarily correct the imbalance. Calmag is N-centric if you look at the NPK numbers on it. Confused enough yet?

The purple is a trait of the strain you're growing. But again, that purple you're seeing is an indication of that strain reacting to the deficiency... something you don't want to see until your final weeks of flowering.

lol nope not confused. ok so new pic is up from today check it out plz. looks better today right? all i did was flush. im going to go buy calmag talk to ya when i get home. and thanks for your help lordjin and inhale.

ROOTS I SEE ROOTS healthy too at that. cant wait for next couple of days. calmag is going in tomorrow after res change. ill post new pics to keep updated :)

Is he not growing in soil? Because I'm pretty sure that's what my comment was aimed at.

If you see healthy new root growth, you're on your way to recovery. Congratulations. I bet they just needed a gentle flush, but the calmag won't hurt. Remember start off slow and build up as the plants gain size.

Awesomeness and god in growing in water where ph is supposed to be lower than dirt (generally speaking also genetics dependant) but thanks for responding all everyone looks good and after the next flush ill be addin calmag
