So i decided to mix up some of the FF big bloom and tiger bloom, just under the amount they recommend for foliar feeding, and sprayed them down. I have had problems with ph in this soil in the past, but i got my runoff just right, but i have noticed that when the soil drys about 2 days after my nute feeding there is what looks like salt build up on the top of the soil. I guess i should just get in the habit of bi or tri weekly flushes?
I've never used FF nutes before, but it seems awfully odd that they would have an excessive salt buildup. But like i said, I've never used them before. Is it possible that you're using too much? I don't think it's necessary to flush that often, unless you're using too much nutes, or epsom salts, or baking soda, or something like that? I only flush once during the entire growth cycle,(about the 6th week of bloom) and never had a problem with salt buildup or nutrient lock. I would say that once every 4 weeks would do the job really well, so that might save you a little time and effort.
