I am using BC TechnaFlora, I bought a starter kit that has several additives. I have been using Sugar Daddy in my spray bottle. Is this advised, what is the best nute to spray on. My set up is a mother tub with my pump, bubbler, and meter. I have a seperate tub for each female. The water trickles back down to the mother tub. The mother tub is the one that is giving me the problems. The PH in my plant tubs raise only when i am not home and the high PH gets pumped into the plants. It has never jumped to 8 like my mother tub. Seems the problem only happens in the mother tub. I have purchsed an additive that is supposed to help with systems like this and it did nothing to help my problem. If this deficiency as i thonk it is will a flush hurt my plants. I dont have nutes in the tub now and the ph rose from 5.5 to 6.8 in a little over two hours. I have replaced my pump today and also replaced my bubbler. I was thinking i had a build up of Calcium or Magnesium. I dont know enough to tell which is the problem and if it to much or to little but i have read this probably is my problem. My first grow i used Stealth Hydro nutes and they as long as the system are crap. I also had this problem on that grow. I adapted it to this system and purchased a HPS light for this grow. Sorry i am all over on my reply, jsut trying to cover all of the questions as i remember them.

i do have a well but on the first grow i only used distilled water and had this problem. I now do use tap water. the PH is not that bad and the PPM is only 40 or so in the water. I PH down the shit out my system. As it raises to 8 two or three times a day. It is that bad. I have replaced everything but my pump head thinking it was a build up in one of my parts. I did that today and my PH still rose to 1.3 points in a little over two hours. Could the problem be in my tubing. I am not sure if the tubing is FDA compliant or not. I dont even know if that makes a difference. They are growing in Peat now. The first time it was rockwool. Both have given the same outcome.

I woke up early to drop the PH and decided to watch a feed and see what was going on during the feed. First i dont know what happened but i woke up and the PH was 6.77 which insnt bad considering it was around this when i went to bed. I made my water with PH down and poured a little in. Stirred and the PH was at 3.8. I did just wake up but i am pretty sure these numbers are correct. I then questioned my meter so got my calibration solution and checked the meter, it was fine. I adjusted it 5.9. During my 15 minute feed the PH rose to 6.16. As soon as the feed was done it fell to about 6.08. it now is sitting at 6.4 about 30 minutes after first feeding. I t seems the problem might be in the pump head. It is the only piece i did not replace yesterday. I dont have any nutes in the water, but the PPM has rasied to 200. Not sure where this came from. It was at about 50 last night. Plants are looking a lot worse. I cut about two to three fan leaves each day due to wilting. Should i spray my plants with Magical, it is Mag, Cal, and Iron. Trying to figure this out by replacing everything in my tank and doesnt seem to do any good. Where is this PH coming from?

My Technaflora guide said to spray transplanted seedlings so forth with B-1 green. I assumed this would apply across the board. This could be part of my problem but i dont think it would cause PH issues.
Not really knowing the science behind it i would assume it would only help the plant with nute uptake.
Sounds like i need to research this more. I assume you do not spray nutes do you spray at all.

i just confirmed my earlier problem. I decided to drop the PH and observe how it moves up to the next feeding. I took about one table spoon of PH down and added it to a 20 ounce glass. I then poured about 3 or 4 ounces of that solution to my tank. The Ph instantly fell from 6.78 to 4.1. Way to much adjustment for the little PH down i added. The PH down, up, and my pump head are from Stealth Hydro and are the only parts i still use from my original setup. Has anyone heard of PH adjuster going bad. It is a powder not a liquid. This could be the reaon why my PH is so crazy. Once again i am not a chemist but the solution could be breaking down over time in my tank. Anyone????????
I know i am throwing a lot of stuff out at once but i have tried everything and nothing is working. I figure the more info i gather and share the more likely someone knows what is going on.
