Yellowing in leaf margins and brown spots.

Ive been trying to figure out whats been going on with my plants for the past month. Flushed the plants 2 weeks ago. ive been feeding 10ml Botanicare grow and 5ml cal/mag the last 2 feedings. Thinking it could be something going on with my soil? Maybe possible pottasoim dif or bugs? Inside leafs seem less affected then the outside.

70-75 degrees
60-80% rh
Half gallon per 3gal pot each feeding
Running Vero 29s at 18in
Exaust fan blowing out and passive intake

If i forgot to put down any info let me know and I'll update as quick as possible.

kind of looks like too much water and/or too much fert. what soil are you using? how often are you feeding the botanicare? why did you flush?

Originally flushed because i thought my soil was to hot. The soil itself is called vital organics. I feed them every 6 days. I thought it might be too much water too that's why I started watering a half gallon per 3 gallon pot. Down from 3/4

no such thing as too much water-
only watering too often, and insufficient drainage.
you could pour 2 gallons of water in the pot as long as you waited until it was dried out before doing it again.
1/2 gallon at a time is perfect.
I've grown mj that was watered non stop 24/7 with great results for example.

Since I have been uping the feeding and only doing half gal of water per feed. I wanna say it could be a bug in my soil? Might be worth saying too that my root ball is already hitting the walls of my pots.(feels like the roots have completely filled up the spaces in the pot) I'm using cloth pots

try upping your water to about 3/4 gallon at a time, and stop the ill feeding habits

If that soil has fert in it you probably are over ferting. you have to give the soil a distinct dry cycle in between watering. you should take a look at the contents of the soil to see if it has fert. it probably does. this makes adding more fert a difficult thing because you can easily add too much and kill the plants that way.

Go back to water, feed, water, but add some Micro nutrients into it, if you using jus a grow formula there is no Micro nutrients. I would even ad jus Micro into the watering days also to boost it. If it was Nutrient burn it would form at jus the tips of the plant and you saying your only feeding at 3rd of strengths there is no way it can be burn. i would say lack of Micro nutrients all day. look into it if you think i am wrong. google Micro deficiency

How do you get a gallon of water in a 3 gallon pot ?

I can't get much more than 40 ounces in at once, and my plants are often 4 - 5 ft tall and even bigger than that around, I'm just asking

I dip my bags until they are fully saturated... the coco holds about 25% of the volume in water.
So if I dump a 2litre bag, it will take 500 ml water with when taken out.

It is warm and dry here so they pretty much dry out in about a day.


Edit, I thought you were in coco, seem like you are doing soil... if so.. drill holes in sides and bottom

LOL I knew I saw somewhere he's in Coco oh well when he figures out which it is it might help in solving his issue..? :hump:
