Yellowing in new growth, can't figure out what it is. Anyone?

So transplanted teens that were in soil into canna coco. Using jungle juice 3 part. Silica blast. Florlicious plus. Calmag. Ph kept 5.8. Root growth is awesome. Besides the yellowing they look awesome. Roots. Stalks. Leaves. Except new growth. First time using coco. Using it in a flood drain buckets. Thin layer of Rockwool on bottom to strain coco. I foliar fed them a few times this week with cal mag. Since I first started flowering it has gotten better but still exists.

I also have separate group that were started Incoco. I trans into straight straight coco with rocks in bottom of buckets. Basically hempty. Same 3 part and stuff as above. They show signs of this yellowing but not as bad.

But really what is causing this chlorosis. I can't figure it out. Both mentioned ppm is 1200-1400. Tap water. 350ppm. Just this week started adding cal mag to Rez. 3ml. Then change to 5ml. Waiting to see if they take it up. I've been flushing. After all the research I've done. Points to mg s or fe. Cal mag has all that in it...

so the pix. The two on left same strain. Just one is like 1st week. 2nd pic is week 2-3 flowering. Yellowing has gotten better. But other plants have a lot of yellowing still.

The other two are same plant but this one is in Rockwool. Same res as coco plants. Is this the conformation that mg is low? Never had a issue with rw and yellowing like this. Many many runs.

Anyway anyone know why this is happening. 8k light. Ac cool. Air cool hoods. Great setup. Just don't know what's going wrong.

What you should do is run some PH adjusted nute solution through the medium, gather the water that is running out of the bottom of the bucket/container. Test the runoff for PH and for PPM and I think that will give you the answer. Plants absorb nutes at different levels so I would assume that one of the nutes are building salts up which are stopping uptake of others. I would do the test I suggested and if the PPM is high or the PH is way off I would flush the plant, let it dry out really well after flushing and then start with your nutes again.

Well see... I doubt the nutes are bad cause I have a dwc setup in room. Same nutes and they are booming. Great growth. But coco is still yellow. I upped the cal mag 5ml/g with 6/9 h3ad. Started with 1250 with tap. Checked today 1400ppm so it's concentrating. So logic says to lower initial ppm down to like 900 but idk id have to try. Btw 60 ladies on this Rez. It seems possible I may need to up ppm 2000 plus? Never had a burn on these. Tap here is 375ish

My other site. I flushed them with 5 gal water each till ran out same ppm as tap 3 gal of coco. 6.0 run off. Today I tried using r/o (20ppm)water with 6/9 adjusted to 5.9 on 4 of them. And 3 with r/o 6/9 with 3 ml/g cal mag 800 ppm. So I'll give them a couple days to see how they react. They look better than ones above. It's just the newest growth. The leaves are just not as flat as I want them to be. Really like ridged surface. Like in between veins on leaves its really raises. Like imaging 3 ) | Those being leaf flatness. Mine is a 3. Never experienced this before. Is it too mich light? bleaching leaves.. Or to fast a growth to keep up on chlorophyll? Only a 600 and 400 hps. Not much light. Tap here is 450ish. So hopefully r/o will resolve all this? Is my ppm just way to high for coco I usually go for 1300's for a 3-4' ladies. Am I gonna have to drop it down to 5-600's? Seems low to me. And the other 6 in there are still on flush water. Gonna give them another day. I can visibly see yellowing happening faster but that is expected with no nutes in medium mill let me starve for another day and hit them with another regiment of nutes. Haven't decided how to approach these. Maybe just but some coco specific nutes. But then again why do that when my dwc says that the values are there as they are thriving.

But really these flushed ones should tell me a lot. I've ruled out a lot here. No additives. R/o. Ppm is near what I read for modified Lucas. Idk. I wanna correct the issue so I can flip into flower.

And over water. I doubt it. Flood 40 once a day. Water the tent every other day. Flush both once a week at least.

Also have some babies in 4x4 pots in coco. Rooting extremely well. Basically fed them only cal mag for past two days 5ml gal. With tap. I know there is no PK in there. But I'm just playing with them. Cause they are already showing signs of this leave and yellowing issue. I guess my theory is the cal mag ingredients mainly c mg and fe would correct this issue. Some still have a ill bit yellowing in newer growth. But others have the green I'm looking for all through the leaf. - the purple stem. But that's the PK and would be fixed easily. But these little babies are super rooted and could talk to me fast as they dry out the pot in a day. So what ever I give them they will react to it by next day or so. That leads me to but some other brand nutes and try this to see how they react. And keep my AN nutes for my dwc.

I'm kinda rambling on but just throwing out my theory's and how I'm approaching things. Ima throw up pics of my other tent. The ones with r/o water. Tell me what you think of them.

Focus on new growth and the leaf texture. See how it has a swell to it like the ocean. Same lady in all pix. One has flash on. Other no flash. It's over all look is good. Green stem, woody stem. Ph is perfect. Grown at least 8" in past 2 weeks. Been trying to correct the new growth issue and letting bottom branches get a little taller and not get so shaded out. But they need to get flipped soon or it's gonna be a jungle.

I got teens and they were in like 8oz cups of coco and 20" tall. Didn't have room to develop huge roots. But roots were good n white. 4 weeks old when I got them. I veged an additional 2 weeks to develop the root mass. I might even go one more week veg for the sake of the roots.

So I have a consensus on this post. I ended up harvesting everything. Even though I had some "issues" ultimately I believe my ratios on nutes were a little off and some strains stretched a lot. Like the white widow max, prolly a 3.5x stretch. They get tall with massive colas. Lots of trics. Dense buds with weight. 30 teens made 3.5. Wouldn't run again. Watch out for bud rot. No smell. Minimal taste. Sour dream, platinum gsc, crystal og and master Kush were all awesome. Sour dream is a beast. Ultra frosty with hella dense mugs. Great visual appeal. Also has lots of flavor and smell. I also ran delicious seeds cotton candy. That was a poor yielding plant. I think it was a bad pheno. Smelled great. Frosty but just lacked flavor. Wouldn't recommend it. Better strains out there.

My next run includes. Faceoff og, pinks cloud, Tahoe og, og Kush, mr nice, jskunk, double barrel og, double stomp og (db ogxgrape stomp), blue dream, double valley (db ogxvalley og), golden dream.

idk how the pictures will line up. But in order it's white widow max. Crystal og, cotton candy, sour dream. Platinum gsc.
