Hey there fellow growers,
The pics shows the top part of a Royal Haze Autoflower from RQS 3rd week into flowering.
Last week, i started noticing that the tips of the top fan leaves (first 2 sets from up down) are yellowing/browning and yesterday i saw like a little brown spot on one of them - Funny thing is the brown spot is only noticeable under the led grow light. I do not see yet (at least not yet) under normal light.
I know in late flowering bottom leaves will yellow and fall but the bottom leaves are perfectly fine, as well as bud spots. It only seems to happen to the first 2 set of leaves from above.
On the other hand, budding is going fine and starting to get very frosty as you can see..smell is also getting awesome. Every other aspect of the plant is fine and she is budding in a very consistent way except for those bud sites that are a bit further down from light source.
Hereafter details of my grow:
Strain: Royal Haze Autoflower
Source: Seed
Medium: 1/4 potting soil, 1/4 worm castings, 1/4 potting mix (with choir, moss etc), 1/8 perlite + 1/8 vermiculite in a 4 gallon
Lighting: Full spectrum led grow light 300W
Current lighting schedule: 18/6 (Been like this since day 1 of seedling).
Environment: Reconverted shower so lots of space with a window and a fan blowing so temperature wise i am fine as well as fresh air coming in all day/night.
Pot: 2 Gallon drained pot
Watering schedule
Veg:
Bottled water + Botanica's miracle grow Activ A every other watering - I used veg nutes 1/2 dose only twice during the vegetative stage:
Flowering:
First 2 weeks of flowering: Bottled water + Botanica's miracle grow Activ A every other watering.
3rd week of flowering: I just stared flowering nutes and watered only once with it so far.
Tested soil PH yesterday and i was at about 6.
I am afraid the yellowing and browning spreads as these are leaves close to the main cola.
I would appreciate your advice if you guys think this is a
1) Nute burn (my soil could be rich with everything that's inside)? and would therefore require a flush?
2) Nutrient lock out due to bad PH?
3) Nute deficiency irrespective of PH?
4) Or any other thing that i have not thought about
Many thanks my friends!
Peace out
