Yellowing leaves, Nitrogen deficiency???

      • Hello everybody!

        This plant is a White Dragon (Northern Lights x Afghan) (100% Indica)

        She has been in flowering mode for 22 days

        Medium: 30% Peat, 30% Worm Castings, 30% Perlite
        Indoor
        150 W Metal Halide (20 cms away, 8 inches)
        Ventilating Fan
        11 Litres Pot (3 Gallons)
        Recently added 2 x 27 W CFl as side lighting.

        I have been using just organic fertilizers. Advanced Nutrients Mother Earth Super Tea Bloom, Plagron Alga Bloom and a bit of Nirvana.

        The water comes in at 6,6, and the runoff is 6,5.

        Day Ciclye

        Temperature= 24-27 Celcius (77 F)
        Humidity= 30-45 %

        Night Cycle

        Temperature= 18-19 Celsius (68 F)
        Humidity= 50-55 %

        Well she got to big so i had to tie her down on the 15 day of flowering. Anyway, I never did any technique at all during veg, so I know this must have stressed her a lot.

      Well today I started seeing this yellowing in the bottom of the plant. The plany is really long, and on the top, I thought maybe there was some nitrogen toxicity, as some bud leaves have the shape of the claw. Well, if the bottom has nitrogen deficiency, this would overrule the assumption that there is a nitrogen toxicity, so the clawing of the leaves may be from enviormental issues.

      Please Help

      Thank and happy growing!!

It doesn't look serious, but geez that is a tall plant, lol.
You've got a lot of worm castings which can hold a lot of water. This may explain the clawing. Maybe next time think about using less. What happened to the other 10%?
I'm also not familiar with those nutrients, but many times the bloom formulas will contain practically no N at all. It's plausible that the high P and K ratios are doing a number on your plant. The leaves are yellowing slightly i.e. not as green as the others but they are also turning brown. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Your plant has plenty of leaves on it, so don't worry about the ones at the bottom. A lot of times lower leaves will die out on their own as the plant ages. Overall your plant looks just fine, so don't do anything drastic, OK?

How many does a plant normally lose naturally per day? And do those leaves look like any deficiencies?

Man i've had my plants shrivel to shit, had all the top cola area fan leaves burnt 50% the way down and be ok, dont freak out and fuck shit up.... whatever you do, your doing something right, your plant looks fantastic. oh yeah and im talking 100 and 95 degree fuck ups that are ongoing untill i get AC... yet they soldier on... these plants are almost human, make it hot as hell, they shed some clothes, too wet, they crawl instead of walk, cut off a leg, they limp for a while till they get a fake one. whatever you do dont freak out... so its a couple of leaves? let them be, or snip em. hell it don't matter really. all that bottom shit isnt going to produce jack shit anyways, just let them die naturally... your probably doing most everything you can. it does not always go 100%. kinda looks like its been stretching for light? have u moved positioning of the light recently?

those leaves on the bottom WILL NOT get light from a 150 watt hps that far up, or either of those cfls... shits natural for them to die, alot of people trim that whole section of the plant anyways, no worries mate.

think of the fan leaves as solar panels, that are biological... if you dont feed them enough (light) THEY WILL DIE, but no worries, there is always tons of areas that will live on and produce. and they will form more, in places that do get light and those will help the most. even the small ones.

spot on even with hps your going to see that shes streched like that as well you havent gave her enough light from the begining put her under 400w at least.
