I am in my 3rd week of flowering an i noticed yeaterday that the bottom leaves are turning a light yellow. I watered them 2 days ago and the ph was 6.4 and the ppm was 1060. I think its a nitrogen defiecenciy but could it be from not enough light hitting them? Im growing in soil.

Thats normal just watch and make sure it's not moving up on the new or top growth in the most simple terms the plant send nutrients from old growth (bottom) to the new growth (top) if majority of the plant is fine then your good, just remove any dying yellow leaves so you can see in a few days if it any new leaves are yellowing

Ya ill give it a few more days an see what happens. its more of a light green right now, not really yellow. The top leaves an bud look great. A few weeks after i started veg a couple leaves turned the same color an i just cut them off an they were fine since. But all four plants have the same color of leaves, in veg it was just one plant. Im doing a scrog grow by the way. An Its right above my screen where the leaves are turning that color.

Someone else on here this same question just about a hour ago, and the diagnosis I gave him I will also give to you. It can be a few but most likely is being caused by heat stress. If heat isn't the issue it may be some kind of deficiency, you can search marijuana plant deficiency chart on Google and try to match it up.

That isn't anything to worry about to me it looks more like those bottom leaves are not receiving enough light to stay green and healthy so they die off to allow more water and nutrients to the parts of the plant exposed to adequate light. Good Luck.

Its starting to get worse. The top buds still look good but now the bottom leaves are getting really soft and yellowing more. There's defiantly something wrong but its hard for me to get a good oic of it with my phone.

I gave them water that had calmag in it and i put a light bloom mix in so that when i flush its just not pure water theres some nutes still in the water. i watered my planta that are in veg lastnight as well an i tested the run off water. The ph was 8.2 and the ppm was 3300. But before i watered them the ph was 6.8 and the ppm was 600.

Is that normal?
Holy crap with the diagnosis. Anyone ever thought that maybe since the plant is 3 weeks into flower that the plant begins to use up the stored energy in its leaves to feed its flowers. That's what they are there for. Its normal just let it do its thing. Your plant looks great. Also some leaves on the bottom that don't receive enough light will be discarded after the plant utilizes the energy stored in said leaf.

so what juat give it a lil while for the plant to take the energy out of the leaves then juat cut them off?

My chocolope kush mother is having problems too. Hard to see but the middle of the leaves is a dark green then the out side of the leaves is a light green on almost every leaf. I was using distilled water then switch to spring drinking water. Im starting to think theres stuff in the water that the plants dont like. I used the water on both veg and budding plants and then they started having problems. Im'a go back to using distilled water an see what happens.

i have kinda a stupid question but should i keep track of the weeks in flowering from when i switched to 12/12 or from when i first saw the white hairs pop?
