yellowing, not sure.

Having a little yellowing happening. Mainly just looks really like green, but looks like it's on it's way to yellow. Noticed it today which happened to be transplanting day. When I transplanted everything was Way more root bound than I would of liked to see. Looks to me like it needs a heavy feed, but just am not sure.

Pictures make them look greener than the appear to me.

Have you flushed with anything like yucca or 'sledgehammer'? Almost looks like you need some N. I'm still a noob but if you just flushed, I'd say give them some N. If not, let them get accustomed to their new transplant for a week, then feed them. They look like they're hungry but just starting to tell you.

could probably use a little fert. you could try some dynagro, just follows the directions on the back. or a cheaper fert like Schultz 10-15-10 sold in hardware stores. just don't over do it.

I think she needs some N too. Lots. Id feed grow nutrients hard for the next two weeks and then relax a bit. Ive seen many plants with low fertilizer in the veg side of life turn really yellow in flower if theres not enough nitrogen floating around when the start flowering. Looks like hes close to flowering anyway so id say wait until the plants pretty green before flower starts and feed grow nutrients at proper ppms as per a ppm meter, for the first three weeks of bloom. Hopefully theyll stay green until harvest that way.

Sadly enough I haven't used a ppm meter. I know its all dependent on strain and what stage of life the plants In but how do you know what's too much and what's too little. I'm going to go buy one today.

Well its all relative to the size of plant you have. But the signs of over feeding are leaf claw, dark green to almost black leaves, and burnt leaf tips. Under feeding is usually seen with the plant turning pale yellow. Its tough to say what you should be feeding her since i dont know if your using soil or soiless there, but id say if you have some synthetic veg nutes handy that you feed her about 850 ppms. For about two weeks. If its organic soil you won't need to feed it that more than once a week. If you have some worm castings or manure around you could make it a tea with some molasses. She might like that.

I have some vegging plants right now that look a lot like this. The yellowing and slight canoeing of the leaves (not major canoeing from high temps or lumens). However, mine have a lot of purple marks on the middle leaves and brown necrotic spots. I dont know what i'm doing wrong. Dont know if its nutrient burn or deficiency. So confused!

Hi JME. Are you implying that the yucca or sledgehammer would help or be a detriment to a plant in this condition? I'm assuming that the yucca would help? My plants are looking similar to the OP.

I was asking if he had flushed recently. Because they look very N deficient. If yours are yellowing, like these, don't flush. Sometimes products like 'sledgehammer' really flush everything out and if you're not careful, they can yellow quickly depending on strain. I was surprised as to how quickly it truly flushed my girls. Had to feed next watering every time. Mixed reviews about it.

OK thanks. I just realized what my problem is. Over watering likecrazy because the soil I'm using has poor drainage
