Yellowing on leaves

You have a lot of clawing downwards, could be N tox. What does your nutrient schedule look like?

I use the recommended dose of Dyna gro bloom at every watering. Could it possibly be over watering?
What is your ph? what medium are you growing in? I typically advise people to start at 1/4 strength of what the recommended nutrients are. More times than none the companies recommendation is to hot for plants.

These are in happy frog. I pH my tap water that's sat out for 24 hrs to 6.2.

I've also never flushed them. I always water till about a gallon runs off. Its only on the tops. I didn't even realize it was like that until I claimed up on a ladder to adjust a light.

Ok, I see some burns and probably a little toxicity. I would flush for two waterings and see where you are at then. If you noticed that the two days did your plants some good, then begin feeding 1/4 strength for a few days and wait for your plant to tell you it needs more. Then proceed to feed it as it needs it. If it looks the same and still a little burnt, then proceed to flush a day or two longer. Also, swing your PH. Not all nutrients are absorbed efficiently at the same PH. Most plant nutrients in soil are optimally available to plants within this 6.5 to 7.5 pH range, so swinging your PH allows for different nutrient uptake. I attached a chart that could give you a better visual representation of what I am referring too. Soil Nutrient Scale.jpg

So wait until the soil dries out between the no nutrient waterings? Thank you so much!

I'm sorry, I don't quite follow. An example would be water today, with 50% runoff. Then tomorrow repeat. If it looks better on day three, then proceed to start feeding nutrients. You don't need to add nutrients everyday in your watering. In my soil grows, I'll use nutrients once or twice a week in my waterings. The rest of waterings are plain R/O water.

These are in 10 gallon pots. I usually only water every 3 days. That's why I was unclear as to if I should let the soil dry out between flushes.

Ahhhh yes, definitely let them dry out between feedings. How much you let dry out is on the opinion of the grower. I let it dry out 80% and then water.

My TDS tester came in the mail yesterday and I haven't learned what all that means yet but before I left for work this morning I checked my tap water and it is 400. I checked a 5 gal bucket that I filled yesterday and it was 443 and then I checked what was left of my 22 gal, about 5 gal, of my nutrient solution water and it was 104. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Not sure if its even relevant or not?

So I finished the second flush a little bit ago and here is how she looks now. Worse I think. I checked the ppm of the water I put in. Had a little bit of nutes left in the drum that I filled with plain water so the ppm was 562 and the pH was 6.7. I let about 3 gal run through it and the last of the runoff was 2440 ppm and a pH of 6.0. Does this mean anything? Or help diagnose?

Yes, this at least tells me one thing. You need more perlite. Your soil is clumping and storing nutrients. Keep flushing.

the run off from your soil was 2440? thats VERY high for soil. think you've been over feeding for a while. make sure when you water to give it enough to get a little coming out of the bottom of the pot, and only give them food maybe twice a week, as xmat suggest. when i use soil i add at least 25% perlite and about 10% peat moss, makes it light and airy but still holds some moisture so it doesn't dry too quickly.

Yea I just used FF Happy Frog straight out of the bag. I only water twice a week at the recommended dose on the bottle for every watering. I also always watered to about a gallon runoff. I knew nothing about checking ppms until now and still don't know much about it. I want to learn so I do better next run. Should I finish this one out with no nutes, just plain Ph'd water?
