Yep, I screwed up....

I never imagined how much one would learn with their first grow....

Ive seen a lot so far and made plenty of mistakes. Thanks to this site, Ive managed to recover from all but the one Im dealing with now.

I didnt start flowering as soon as I should have, and now Im struggling to contain my girls in their limited space. I initially had success with tying down branches and arranging the plants in the most space conservative manner possible, but that has all come to an end. They have now grown to an unmanageable size and are being burned to death by the light. I am not able to bend or relocate anymore and am looking for suggestions as to what could be potentially done to salvage what I can.

They are currently 3 weeks into flowering but hardly look it due to what I assume is all the stress. I dont know if I should just chop em down and start over, or if cutting off the tops is an option. I realize its too late for "topping", but if that will allow for me to get a little something out of it, then so be it.

I appriciate any info received.

Thanks!

Just out of curiosity could you describe the dimensions of your grow area, and tell me what type of setup you have

Im using a converted office cabinet with a 400 watt ballast. Its 42"x36"x18".
Well this is my suggestion.

I presently use a wardrobe closet I got from a thrift store. It only cost me 15 dollars.

I would hit up the thrift stores and search for a larger unit to grow the plants.

Now being that use are using a office cabinet, I can only assume that you are growing stealth mode.

If stealth is an issue, it may hinder your ability to set up another stealth cabinet, but I do not know I am only guessing.

Anyway hope the advice helps

Theres a thing called supercropping where you squeeze the stem slightly (just before it cracks) damaging it.. it continues to make bud but upward growth almost stops..plus the lower growth may increase.. Luck.

Aye, stealth is a big concern of mine and unfortunately upgrading to a bigger cabinet isnt an option.
