Well...ive always played with the idea of growing myself.... BUT ive never grown ANYTHING in my life...and ive been registered for just a few days and already feel comfortable in the knowledge the great people here have provided.

I just germed my first seed (paper towel method). planted and shes(hopefully) about 2.5 inchs tall...waiting to pop out the seed completely and show some foliage...

as soon as i get some leaf ill start taking some pics on my extreme low budget build :D

but ive already started thinking more and more about getting a much larger setup.(thanks to https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/22362-30-minute-6-plant-aero.html )

Hey there... welcome to www.rollitup.org

Everyone starts the same way as you... it's like at first we don't even expect the seed to germinate, then it does. Then we expect it to die within a few days, and before you know it it's grown into a substantial plant... Then we think, EXPANSION!

It's great that you're thinking about making the jump to aero already, but a far easier option would be a DWC unit. Whichever path you decide to take you will need some essential tools, one of them is a digital ph pen so that you can accurately measure the acidity level of your feeds.

You can buy a pen here: The Skunk House - The top 100 strains from across the globe.

No prob's... when you're ready to show the pic's.. it's a good idea to start a journal in the journal section.

If, or when you do, I'd appreciate you sending me a link and I'll come and walk through your grow with you. Doubtless some of the experts from this site will do too.

Glad to have you here, you'll be growing like a pro' in no time!:blsmoke:

Once the seed leaf has turned green, if the outer shell is still on there... carefully remove it and give your baby's plenty of light and water. Stress them little as possible until there about 12" tall (which will take ~6weeks) put the lights on a timer 12hrs of light & 12 hrs of uninterrupted darkness... then in around 2.5 weeks they should show there sex. Carefully, remove and cut the males and save them for hash oil or cannabutter. After the sex is determined and the females are healthy and established you can keep them in flowering mode and produce some sinsemilla buds in around 8-16 weeks. However, if you want you can establish a mother plant by reverting back to 18-24hrs of light and take clones off the females to have 100% female plants in your garden and be guaranteed fresh flowers every 2 months. If you decide to clone your mamas you will never have to plant another seed. Also, it saves time and labor and money...
