Yeps-CFL(946 True Watt)-25 Plant-Dj Short-Grape Krush,SSH,SourD+SCROG+Seed grow

sweet job training them! they're looking awesome, the branches also look level so your getting pretty equal growth. and making holes all over your pots is great if your buckets are too moist or arent drying up fast enough, also directing a fan to blow in the holes(i prefer an oscilating fan over a bunch of separate ones) will help them wick out fast. fillin em with perlite or coco could be good too.

Thanks bro.
Was a good tip to level out. makes a difference with the spread.
Just lazy on the holes. So much to do and make and change and set up,take down and...lol
I gotz my hands full.. Digging it though ya know.
Did a lot of work last night and took tons of pics which are coming up.
Late night.
The one down side to running the lights late at night.
Which is better late night or early mornings. I hate morning's. till the 4th bowl and 2 cup of java that is...
Which of course is 5 minutes before lights off... Yep food for though... Yep.

its always beneficial to keep them level, spreading out the nutes is great for em. and the holes can be time consuming, i only have 1 girl right now so its not too bad lol. ive thought of sticking pvc in there at an angle rather than trying to poke those holes all the time, maybe thatd help moisture wick out as well. glad your grows are going well!

SCROG C-1 4-7-12

There Are 2 SSH ladys here and they have a ton of room to grow.
They are staying the same size and growing good and strong.

I might just keep the two in there and see how it compairs to the five
in C-2 .

I could add two short SSH cutting but am worried they wont keep up.

Then again every ounce counts and those 2 might get me a once each... hummm ...

Proving really easy to train. I pull new growth under the net every 2 days or so.

Since I grew to a little tall first.
I can man handle them into doing what i want without
having to tie anything.

Here we have 2 SourD and 3 SSH..

I would say 70-80% full net and just starting to show flowering.

These are growing fast and even with just a touch of nuit burn
they are kicken.

Plain water next... New growth looks clean.

Cut colas today so this should be fun to see what she going to do.

This one seems like it could get out of control real fast if I let her.

still proving really easy to train.
I pull new growth under the net every 2 days or so.
Since I grew to a little tall first.
I can man handle them into doing what i want without
having to tie anything.

I need to get into her and trim just a little of her under growth.
I want to keep the under growth to a minimum for air flow.
Cutting little at a time rather than all at once.

Really enjoying this one... I'll tell you what.. Yep...

GK 2 4-7-12

I am not worried about her dry leafs as they are due to over watering.
Hard to tell what she is doing. My gut says to cut and dry yet she looks like she is still growing
and I cant find any amber.
I put Ice in my cool air humidifier and placed right next to her trying to chill her a little
maybe get a little purps going.
Not sure when I will cut her.
She is close. Hoping tonight I can tell.
I want her in dark for cut so If it looks good I will cut tomorrow night.
She needs to get drying.. Oh yeah...

id say a little longer, may i ask why not use an HID? i feel like youd be blow away by the results you'll get if u can do that with just cfls[/Q

Sup bro. Good question ...

Why not hid/hps.. Cause its to easy to follow the recipe of others.. everyone said I could not get good nugs with cfl yet no one seems to give cfl a serious try at flowering. So. Thought why not.. look at my sours and SSH

They are 100%cfl grown .. if u read about cfl you can't get yields like that with cfl. Yet there they are..lol.

Remember this is my 1st real try at growing and I can't believe people think cfl can't flower.

Cfl has Pros and cons just like most lights. Yet it seems to me cfl have a place and I can't find any proof they can't do just as good as other lights. So I am going to find out for myself.maybe put some Proof on here that they can in fact grow something ...
Then maybe someone who been growing longer will exspand upon my input. Then who knows... yep that's why... yep...

the road less taken can also be the better road to take my friend, not everyone knows whats best. people bash LEDs all the time and claim their yields are horrible, but people are pulling yield just as good off some of the more top of the line products out there, just as much as any hps/mh, and they're said to be more efficient for trichs since the spectrum is so wide. if you can fit some blue spectrum in, you can get really frosty nugs, but red spectrum gets most of your weight, so when you have the whole spectrum, you can get the best of both. you can also do this pretty well with cfls, id do 1 7500K for every 3 2500K bulbs.

Yep.. Spot on bro, thankz...
I cant get my hands on 7500k... I used 2x 65w 2700k - 3x 26w 6500k - 1x26w 3500k for the SourD.
I keep thinking about Blue & red Party cfl bulbs I've seen.. I Might try those...

their color isnt the same as spectrum really, id just stick to the daylight bulbs if you want more blue spectrum. more red spec=more weight, more blue spec=more trichs, so using more blue spec can yield less but more potent.

Grape Krush 2 getting cut tonight.. in the dark 2nd night.. might cut some sours & SSH as well... heavy lean on SD..

SSH 1 4-7-12

Tho she looks stressed.
She recovered from stress a couple weeks ago(mites and my own oil spray for mites) I dont think I lost much growth and I am going to cut her fat nugs tonight then let her bottom Nugs go another week before cutting down.
I want to see if she stalls due to cutting main colas or just keeps pumping them out..

Her claw is due to the fact I make her go bone dry between watering.

Call me stoked... Yep... stoked...

I think, I will use my 2 SSH training ladys to test this.

I will seperate them and use more red on the smaller SSH and more blue on the bigger SSH.

super silvers lookin like she got mites or pH claw, not too sure. are you positive the claw isnt from pH/overwater? there might be some water sitting at the bottom of your pot, its happened to me, way before i poked holes in the soil though.

and that'll be a good experiment, are you gonna flower each completely with a separate spectrum? and if they're not clones i dont think this experiment would be valid since theres some variation in ssh, for instance i got a 9-10 week pheno which i though was weird for a heavy haze.
i would use 3/4 blue and 1/4 red spec for one, 3/4 red and 1/4 blue on the other. or even an 8:1 ratio on the specs, a tiny variety is always good for them. id also do it with the gk since those buds are nice and dense, youll really be able to tell the yield difference then.
