Hi, I'm new to growing, and to this website, this is my first thread but hopefully not the last. I'm currently growing an autoflower blue treacle seed, I started off with the cup method to germ the seed, left it overnight and woke up to nothing (expected) have it another 6-7 hours and still, nothing. Being new to the game and very impatient I resulted to literally cracking the seed with my teeth, this in turn led to me biting the seed almost in half, i quickly threw it into my growing medium (medium soil mix with perlite) dreading the worst. 2 days flew by with the plant pot under my room light (unknown wattage). To my disbelief, I was staring at a thin white stem about 5mm high with the smallest green leaf i top of it. I quickly bashed together a temporary 'grow box' with a *30watt- 3 setting lamp* as my only light source, I have no light timing but keep it either on the windowsill or under the lamp, the plant is now very thin and about 8mm tall but has sprouted a second leaf adjacent to the first, this is the 4th day and I'm really needing opinions and any tips I can get! I'll be posting a picture of my grow space soon.
Thanks guys, look forward to replies and I hope you can help!
