The more the merrier, Right? Hey everyone, First time post. I fed up with High Kush prices. Once you smoke it, nothing else is good enough. I have a question on timers, I hope you don't care I post it here. I am starting a grow for my consumption, and I bought a timer (utilitech) Digital 2 outlet Timer. How do you guys run yours, 12 am to 12 pm?

Just dropped seeds for germ yesterday. Good Bagseeds. Do wish me luck, I just cant stand this swag anymore....

It depends really on opinion. I run my girls under 24hr lights for the first month"veg" and then switch to 12/12 for the flowering cycle. Those are about the same time's I have my timers set to though!

Yeah i put it on 12 am to 12 pm for flowering.

Depends, some people run their lights at night to keep things cooler, some run durring the day. I like mine to come on in the morning so i can check it before work. I doesnt really matter.

Im trying to set this timer, so i dont need a timer for veg cycle then for the first month. I let it run until i max out my space on veg; then go 12/12.

if u r going to do flower straight from seed 12 hours dark 12 light at what ever time is good for u i run mine at nite to have cooler temp 9pm to 9 am
but if u want to veg them either 18/6 20/4 or 24

Dont max out your space and then switch!!!!! Your plants are going to double if not triple in flower!!

and no u dont need a timer if u want to veg first and r doing 24 hours of light so if money is tight take timer back till need

Aye, Im with ya bud. 3ft w by 7ft Split Cabinet 2ft on the bottom and 5 on top. Aprox, heh isnt quiet built yet. still laying on the floor in pieces. Im having to finnish some dry wall and framing yet. Im always tight on $$ weather I have extra or not.. Poor is poor. Or $20 a gram wouldnt be a problem. $8 a gram is bad enough. =-p

so that's kinda what I have going on, I am more worried about smell than most anything, then the sound. I dont want my friends or any one for that matter to know anything. If I become a hermit some of my friends will know im up to somthing. =-p It's hard for me to keep a stright face. so it is imperitive that they to get wise. Then the paranoia sets in and I'll have to quit.

DONT TELL ANYONE EVEN IF U R COOL NOW
and make a carbon filter if u need links i can shoot u some
then u wont have to worry about smell

Run your 12/12 whenever it suits your lifestyle. Personaly i like running lights during the day as its less noticable than at night.
I run my first 2 weeks at 24/0 (to keep them short and bushy) then 2 weeks at 18/6 (to get some height on them) then flip to 12/12 until the end (harvest).
