Uhhhh. I kinda did the top already... I'm shite at waiting for responses. Same with organisation. That's shite too.

And what's a water leaf? Is that the big fans?

You gotta keep the terminology simple moondance. I'm not fully up to speed with the jargon just yet.

So. I've topped it. Is the circle method out. Or should I just keep topping like I did last time?
With one single top at like the 4th node you can let it grow a little then start to mainline.. slowly.. pull too much and your colas break or get stressed. Over like a week it will be nice and straight. Just a little at a time each day. You should be able to end up with like 22 main colas.

28/01/17...

Still as random and undecided on what I'm doing as ever.

You're probably going to think I'm an idiot after seeing these snaps. But, I took off the lower inner and out leaves to have sole focus on the topped area and up.

Regardless of the abuse I've thrown at it. It's still taller than my last grow. Though. I'm not sure if I'll get more this time. Or if I've fucked myself by defoliating as much as I have.

My 656ml (22.18 oz) cup is untouched. Thinking of leaving it as is to see how that goes. Or- to be a real spazzbot... mainlining this into an itty bitty version of my first grow. Probably not though.

I'm down to three plants now. I went outside a couple mornings ago. And it looked like something sat on my little seedling. It was dead flat. And kinda munted.

Still got my Sativa looking plant. Although its a bit yellow up top. Don't know what's up with that. It's been getting the same watering and feed cycles. And at the same pH. I mix one batch for all my plants.

The only other thing is my big Indica has a weird something or other going on with its upper leaves. Slight curling on the serrations. No idea what that is either. As it wasn't affecting any of the central or lower growth. Nor is it seeming to affect any of the new growth. Just the last few fans up top. And my light is over a foot and a half away.

I'm still open to constructive input. And cheers Rollers.

Lowest of 21°c. And peaks of up to 32°c depending on how warm the day gets. I have the light set to switch on at 5pm. And back off again at around 9am.

Guess the shitty fan and small confines don't help.

Hmm. Not much I can do about that. Can only leave the door open. Which defeats the purpose of the confine. Don't have access to an AC either.

Really the only thing I could do. Is swap out the exhaust fan. This whole cabinet was improvised just so you know. The only thing that had any real thought put into it was the light source.

I re-tuned the light a few days back. I took 40% off the other two channels. And put 20% into veg. Which seems to have dropped the average high temp to 28°c. Rather than 32-34°c.

There's only one way I can remedy the heat, if ever want to use this light at more than just 30% output. I need to add a decent extractor fan. Rather than the pissant pc fan that's attempting to do the job.

Also here's an update on my plants

Yeah dude PC fans sucks, really really bad. I have a filter fan that I use for my exhaust.

Gah. I just discovered that I'd tied one of my mains up too tight. The wire nearly decapitated it.

I've sat it back up as best I can. But now my two mains are kinda tied together loosely. What a fucking pain in the arse...
Glad I checked it.

Here's a couple of shots from a day later. I decided to wrap a coil of wire around the affected area. Seems to hold nicely.

The break is just below the branches. But, on the other side. Seems my bondage was too rough. Probably should've used Satori rope =^) or... Soft ties.

It's already at 18cm tall. It better be a she. Or I'll have to make it a new Vajayjay.

The other two seem to be really stretching out in the sun. Even the party cup has just about doubled its node length. Neither are quite as leafy or beefy. Probably males knowing my luck.

Oh well... If they are. I might try a random double pollen chuck on some larf. See what crosses that comes out with.

If they're not. I'll be laughing at the extra 3 grams of bush I get from those two. Cos they're tiny in comparison to my indoor plant.

I'm not sure. But I think this might be male. There's no balls on it or anything. But its weedy as fuck. Kinda like the other plants that turned male. 20170206_105016.jpg
Thoughts?

Here's the sativa. Don't know about this one. Never had a sativa.20170206_105044.jpg

This is what I wanted to show you guys. I've had it a month and a half. And barely had any issues with it.

No yellowing. No over water. Just a nice hue of green... and maybe the odd bout of heat.

I'll let it run for as long as it needs to properly bloom.

Thinking of keeping it going through a second run. Just to see how that goes. Give it another 3-4 weeks of veg. Fed a good source of nitrogen. Then flip for a month or two for another harvest.20170226_135855.jpg

Got told two of my plants are male btw. The one outdoors. I had already suspected. But, the Sativa looking thing in the spacebucket is also supposed to be male. Oh well. Maybe I can pollen chuck from both males over some of the larf and leave the rest.

Thanks bro. Would you believe it's been thinned twice?
First to rid the lower branches. Then to make sure it would have more airflow between what's left.

Dan can grow

If you plan on re-vegging a harvested plant, I did that once. Mine took almost 3 months to have enough growth to re flower

I'm not sure if I will. I mean I still have 9 Mullumbimbi seeds left. I could just germinate a few of those for next run.

I am curious about it though.

I discovered my light was getting incredibly hot the other day... Was looking like a a computer clogged with dust. The fan is just some 8cm Nidec thing. Weak as piss.

But, look at that heatsink. It's about 1-2cm thick. And about the size of a small beer coaster. What the fuck is that supposed to do?

It might be a good light of you want fuck all from your plants. But, thus far it looks like an over priced desk lamp. One that can't do shit without its over priced dimmer switch attached.

Haven't got a clue what the driver is either. I didn't really want to completely dismantle it just to find that out.

I'll just finish with- Don't buy these lights. They'll waste your cash. Cutter has all you need to build a worthy light.20170227_224539.jpg
