Bugs will definitely affect your harvest, they suck the life from your plants and the buds suffer. I know with autos they need between 18/6- 20/4 light schedule, are they following that? Get some neem (einstein oil) and treat the plants before the bugs even show up.

Get some pics up and post some real infomation detailing the whole grow, top to bottom.
Thats the only way you will get a decent anwser.

I thought you could run auto's 24/7 lights on, I am doing 3 right now and they have been 24/7. They are lil dwarf looking things but still have a decent amount of bud on them.

what type of light are you using?

what are they growing in? are you using soil? a hydro method? coco? soilless?

What is the temp rang the plants live in? Is their fresh air movement?

4x 42 watt cfl havent got enough money for a hps yet but if i were to buy like a 150hps light would that need a ballast?
and its in a 2 gal container and using foxfarm for soil temp is around 70-73 if thats okay. also an airking fan i just bought a few weeks back

The first thing is going to be make sure your lights are kissing your colas, put them within an inch of the lights. And you really should upgrade your lighting, that is your biggest problem. I'm not sure a 150hps will need a ballast or not. But i'm pretty sure you can get really affordable 250W units, for like 150$ - 200$ that would absolutely increase your yields.

Also fresh air is very important. Along with proper co2 levels. If you have no fresh air, your co2 levels could be as low as 50 PPM. Plants live in a normal 300 PPM environment, and will thrive in environments with a PPM of up to 1500.

and last but not least, expect roughly .30 - .50G per watt of light, on an auto, Done correctly.

Bro it has a while to go they look great..right in the middle of flowering they always slow down for some reason...they will spurt and the entire.top.is gonna be one.fat nug.
And btw if your gonna spend two hundred bucks spend two thirty and get a six hundo hps and you will fucking shit when you see what it can do..

Wishing you good luck bro and happy growing. Also just wanted to suggest you might want to look at this here, it's a cheaper light that will last a long time and is upgradable. Also if you ever go big you can use this for veg or you can even use it for an autoflower tent since it's only a 400. I recommend going hid as soon as possible, even if it's a smaller one till you can buy the one you want because as one poster above said you will be astonished with the results if you can do as well as you have with CFL. Just my 2 cents and I am not knocking CFL's, you just get more bang for the buck with hid.

You can get a. 150 hps for 69.99 at htg supply. I and plenty other people have that light. Nice light for small grows and spaces especially if you add cfls with it. It also puts off little heat.

Yes if it is a hps or mh it will require a ballast.

but the 150 HPS they seel at htg has a built in ballast. I have the light as well. It needs a ballast to work. But it comes with one built right in the fixture. Good luck. STAY HIGH. Nice girls.
