Yields with lack of potency

Was wondering if anyone knows what would cause me to get great yields but medium/mediocre potency. Strains I have grown currently were critical kush pineapple express thc bomb. I feel like they should just be stronger smoke than what they are and I not reaching there full potential. Could a mild nute deficiency or burn really affect the potency a whole lot. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong

Genetics play the biggest role. Nutes could play a role so couldn't flowering times. If you're cutting them early or late will affect quality. Could be that the strains you're growing aren't what you're looking for. Try growing plants with different cannabinoid profiles until you what you're looking for.

The environment. Light amount and proximity. And the amount and composition of the nutes used to achieve the yields. And if the plants are truly finished producing cannabanoids and if they are at peak potency.

Those are the controls to look at.

Balance is key. Happy plants look medium green and have flat mostly parralalel leaves. Yield can still be good but potency and more complex cannabanoids production is possible. Buds grow looking and smelling fresh and have wonderful color and no yellow or burnt bud leaves.

You don't want deficiencies or toxicity to surface. But a little less will yield more potent smoke than too much. Err on the light side is my point.

Most cash crops I see for instance have dark green leaves pointing at the ceiling from too much light and salt pushing their photosynthesis.

I have yet to love any dispensary smoke I have tried here. It is pushed with additives and cut early and not cured properly many many times.

But they started with decent genetics too for the most part.

He strains you mention are potent if grown well. Not super complex highs but should be strong and good buzz.

I am very high on g/13/skunk x Blue Lemon Thai so I hope this all came out helpful. I managed to grow it without her losing one leaf her whole life. Or any real tip burn even. She has me practically tripping.

II think the plants were fed too much, too late, or possible never enough. would have to see/smell/taste/stone to be sure.
the genetics you mentioned are great reps too, always a pleasure to grow and use.
maybe you need to change it up a bit, consume with a different intake? keep up on your vitamins and minerals, like magnesium, in your own body.

ill people, ones who take anti depressants, narco's, etc report marijuana effects all over the map in my experience for example
depressed people react differently than happy folks too.

I've planted shity brick weed seeds that produced stellar keepers, genetics? I dunno. I've loved on over 800 strains since 2008, I found two nobody here cared for, yet favored by others. Maybe they got different seeds? maybe I fucked up the 2 growing? I dunno, but every sativa/indica I've finished were excellent representatives.
