you don't think this sh*t doesn't scare me?

i always have choppers flyin over. wow i was sooo scared. bt recently i have a buddy of mine in the army. he spotted the chopper and said i have nothing to worry aboout. cuz it was training helicopter or some shit. bt yea one of the scariest things ever. is seeing a chopper flying over ur grow
 
I had a chopped fly circles around my house and adjacent property.. same black choppaaa. Good thing I don't keep em on my property ;] Still scary to think they are going to such mesures to get us!
 
Niiice! Starting to scare me though, I have 5 foot tall outdoor plants right now and yeah...

While I'm not doubting this is true... I don't see how it could be really be effective to find the ganja in smaller outdoor grows. I mean what about someone who isn't growing MJ but has a huge garden with lots of tall green plants and fertilizes all the plants in it with high doses of nitrogen. Wouldn't those plants then also sit in the sun all day and have the nitrogen keep them hot at night and be seen by infrared?

My guess is that this type of infrared used to spot outside mj is only effective on monster grows composed of hundreds of plants all together in one location. I doubt FDD's 30 are going to put off enough heat to be noticeable. They are however certainly large enough to be spotted by a low flying helicopter.
 
I agree Florida Girl....I think that whole thing is an urban myth. If they had IR on I bet they saw Fdd hiding in his plants! And like seamade said...looks to me like they were after something else.

FDD....is that why you put the tents and tarp up that are in those vids you posted a while back....to block the view?
 
i just sprinkled my law with 5 pounds of nitrogen. burnt it here and there. my lawn is holding TWICE as much nitrogen as my garden. where do people come up with this stuff? nitrogen seeking cameras? ha

And, considering the area, that's very likely. There are many, many, MANY avid gardeners out that way. And why not? They have great conditions and even better soil. :|

they were 2 blocks over. probably circling a traffic chase after it stopped. you gotta play it for the fans though. :)
 
seems to me they were looking for something else anyway, still cool vids. But I would think especially at nigh in the 2nd vid that they would shine the light one time at the plants.

they hadn't got to me yet. they were getting close so i ran inside. :mrgreen:
 
Do you have your rec and the recs of those you're growing for posted in plain site near the plants?

fdd, you have GOT to stage a night-time fdd-army-man raid movie. With big bright lights and everything! Make like special effect explosions (like with vinegar and baking soda!), and... get ninjas and pirates! Yeah! :D
