I TOLD MY BEST FRIEND

He never seen my grow but new from smoking the weed and I neve addmited it never denied it.

He got pulled over with an ounce of weed and drunk

I GOT BUSTED Cops straight up said it was your buddy Jonny Cockface who got caught driving drunk with an ounce of your weed and ratted

We were best friend for 15 years grew up together. But he ratted me to save himself

......thats dispicable....your x-friend is a dirtbag of the lowest order, but again...the proof is in the pudding.........about two years after my shit was siezed my buddies g/f told me he ratted , they had a break-up,she was mad at him,, he got pulled over with an 1/8th of weed i GAVE HIM 4 FREE ,and ratted, fuk come on, in bc he woulda got the usual 50 buck fine, cost me about 15 grand in almost done product..oh btw..i told the chick that she was a party to it and new for 2 years while we hung out ,went camping fishing togeather, family shit..told her she can fuck off forever now, as for him (i so wanna say his name)...i fucked his g/f and then his next one also, plus i let half the region im from kno about him.....its been a little rough for him.....

This dude doesn't know wtf.

Growers get caught because snitches rat 'em out, but mainly - 90% of cultivation arrests - because they grow outdoors.

That's how growers get popped. i used to work as a file clerk in a warrants office.

In four years I never saw an arrest warrant for anybody who got caught growing because they were selling. (Part of it is because back then, the 1990's, the police were swamped with crack crime and did not really give a shit about small time retailers - this I know for a fact. Not true today - not so much crack but now they suffer personnel and funding cutbacks.)

How did they manage to get a warrant to search your house just because someone says you're growing weed? Seems like they would need more evidence for probable cause.

No warrant just a cop car out front for a day to lie and say their was "trafficking" going on, there was not. Then they came in thru a unlocked back door when I was home hangin out. After they entered they "smelled pot" and that was probable cause.(bullshit) I got 10 plants confiscated and all my equipment broken all my dried product was entered as evidence.

I ended up getting slapped with a felony possession and intent to manufacture/distribute. I live in a non legal, mega republican, heavily policed state. The pigs lied their ass off by saying I invited/allowed them in and thats a fucking lie! And who do you think the prosecutor is going to believe me or them? The answer is them. No jail time but because of the lack of paper work, warrant, and also the fact when I was at the station I denied it all on camera is why I got possession charges instead of growing and dealing.

Also I already had been caught 3-4 times in the last 15 years with small amounts by the local PD. I guess thats a bad thing when I am born and raised in the same small town. I'm sure thats why they felt they didnt need a warrant as I already was known as the "dangerous" pot smoker who...... smokes pot and keeps to himself.

USA is not always land of the free and it is definitely not always fair inside the legal system. Good thing is besides my twice a month check in with probation I got off pretty easy.

Sorry to hear! Glad to hear there was no jail time though. Did you try a lawyer? May have been able to get off completely since they didn't have a warrant.

Always lock your doors! I keep a padlock on my gate, all back doors and front door dead bolted. I even lock the garage door when the garage is shut. They would never be able to say they were "invited" in if they have to smash the door down.

Yeah I had a lawyer. I was looking at 4 class D felonies but the punishment I posted above was after the lawyer. Only thing that stuck was the possession. 60 grams or so in a nice little mason jar was the only part of the paper work they did correct. Lawyer got it dropped to one count of felony possesion. If I do my probation without ONE fuck up at the end of probation my felony will drop to a class A misdemeanor. I got about 5 months to go.

Ok so I have been in the biz for years without a hitch, well one possession, you have to stick with the rules. Complacency is what gets you every time. Everyone that has ever been busted can think back and say, "Fuck! Why did I do that?"

I live in a quiet hillbilly town where nobody really bothers anyone else...
So it is easy to stick to yourself...
and because we are behind the times our police don't have and can't afford all these new fangled gadgets. We did have a county commissioner get caught and charged with a lot of plants recently...he had hundreds of plants outdoors on his own property and once they saw those the searched the inside...and that is when they found the real deal...the big grow op...LOL...
Even though I know that there is no reason for anyone to suspect me of anything I still feel paranoid sometimes that somehow all this will go terribly wrong...but I feel like i am taking less of a risk in the way of getting nabbed then I was before having to deal with whatever kid in a hoodie I could find every 2 weeks...that is surely riskier than, quietly growing my own supply without disturbing anyone, taking it anywhere, or giving it to anyone else...I just don't see why I would ever be fingered...I don't think I am what they are looking for...and I have started going to local nurseries now as opposed to my hydro store...Got tired of those guys acting like they have never seen a girl before...it makes them the opposite of helpful.
Anyway, the only thing I worry about is all my internet history trails...like my accounts used to purchase my equipment...I know what i need to do...start ordering a few legal plants that are commonly grown indoors with intense lighting...some strange thing that is not common, although not unheard of...that way I look like a junior botanist, and not a hobby weed grower...lol.

i built a green house to explain some of the activities in my yard...planters /dirt/ lights and power consumption..i enjoy my greenhouse time, this year i will be installing a koi pond within the structure....
