You know what would boost the economy...a war!

Fucking sad truth isn't it? How soon until the media starts to whisper that in the ears of the people?

Another sad truth, the people are bringing knifes and guns to a drone fight.

We don't need to be in a war to profit from one. We only need to pick a side. There's a bully in the West Philippine Sea and Sea of Japan using a militia to ram all manner of vessels while the world is focused on the rona.

Who are we supposed to be fighting?
What's the next hottest product after opium poppy fields and oil? I hear clean water is disappearing more each year and will soon be a limited resource. Do we know any countries with small armies and lots of clean water?

I've considered it, ever since he was sworn in, but the flu of 1918 was a major contributor to ending WWI, so I don't think so, just look at the USS Theodore Roosevelt, in "peacetime".

There won't be a major conflict in the world for the next 3 years at least, as all the soldiers & sailors will be either dead or in quarantine from COVID-19 (Or until a vaccine is developed )
The damage done to the world's economies will be/is catastrophic, so, you know what?
We might be in for a long spell of peace now, simply because we all will simply be trying to survive & won't have the money to pay for a war.
See, there's a positive for every negative, right?

Russia has 12% of the fresh water left on earth in one lake.

Sooner or later, we'll have it out.

Whose the 'media'?

Because technically what you just did, by making a thread about it and posting it into a political forum of a website that has about 400-1000+ people logged into it at almost all times could very easily be defined as 'the media whispering about it'.

The way the attacks on our democracy is done, you are right, it is like being attacked by drones.

I like to make it fun of it first, in hopes that people don't take it seriously when it is actually whispered by politicians.
