I see the connection We, but I also think that it's likely you're inferring a spurious correlation (looks like cause and effect but really isn't). The USA fluoridating water after the Germans did means nothing. IMO, You're making connections that aren't there. Your points about the danger of fluoride in general may be valid, but do you really think the government has every doctor and chemist in the world under their influence? You don't think thousands of qualified people would immediately raise the alarm in light of these supposedly serious problems? And like Socata mentioned, there are historical objections as well. While most of us (including myself) probably applaud your active curiosity and the fact that you take the time to learn about these things, many "conspiracy theories" like this rely on the fact that it is extremely difficult to see the entire picture and all the circumstances. It's not like I don't believe that some of them could be true, but I'm skeptic enough to try and find points of criticism...a healthy level of skepticism that everyone should practice when evaluating claims like the ones you are making.
I applaud you for having a healthy level of skepticism! Undoubtedly, you can't believe everything you hear, regardless of the source. Some sources are right most of the time, but not one source is infallible when man is involved.
Keep on being critical, it helps us all learn better. It takes time for people to learn new things. I wouldn't believe half of what I know if someone sat me down and tried to explain things to me over the course of dinner. I would be like "The Federal Reserve is a private bank? HAHA your kidding right." I would say "The income tax is unconstitutional and the IRS is a non gov't entity? There is no law for us to pay income taxes? HAHa your joking right?"
