Ok, heres the deal! I cant make up my mind on my new room. Ive considered a single 90 day vegged gaint in a 50 gal tote, to a 400 solo cup sog! I keep changing my mind! I really wanna do a 8x4 ebb flood, 6" net pots, 120 sites...

I cant make up my mind! So everyone vote, with an explanation of why and whomever has the most votes AND IS ALSO more convincing, will see it unfold here in a journal and assist in all areas via forum!

Germination begins in middle of January.

undercurrent DWC over /ebb& flow and spray ............ 26 oz 22 grams off one plant in 110 days (took up a whole 4x4x6 tent)


just exchange the air stone to a micro pore defuser for the air in the water and make sure u get a over powered pump ......i personally shot for 1 gallon of air a min tho the bucket


just understand if u make monster plants the PH in the system will need to watched and adjusted 4 6 8 times a day

why: 50lbs of co2 would be wasted in other venues,imo.
go for 13g a plant to get 3.5 lbs

I dont believe it would be a complete waste on a single cola sog layout. Not as effective as it could be, but I have it, why not use it?

One plant isnt my idea here, though I thought of it lol...

I know you have something else, but I promise, one day ill do a 3000w plant or something crazy like that lol.

i want you to use it yes and it's my opinion the best utilization of the co2 is the ebb n flow 120 site. 400 solo cups would waste it. a single 50 gal tote plant feels wasteful and you said you want to do an ebb n flow anyway. man i'm just daydreaming as if i had those assets, that's what i would do.

the Co2 is a good idea and thing but have u ever thought of making it yourself

brewing beer/ wine / moonshine the by product of it is prue Co2 ........plus when it is done u get something to drink

for your goal man DWC is the choice 4 plants at a time u should get at least a lb off each if u want to make alot of plants to get to the goal that is u

but i try to do it as little as possible so honestly not sitting there for 18 20 hours clipping and trimming little popcorn buds

I get a 50 lb tank, comes full for $13.95/ month! I would never wanna deal with the hassle, mess and burping lol... not when im able to avoid it for $30 a cycle!

Shop around! Ebays awesome! I got both lights, with hoods and ballasts n new bulbs for $170 with shipping, two inlines for $90, co2 reg for $35. I got $600 into it so far and I have everything I can think of, minus the 4x8 table ($90), hydroton and netcups! (Which is 295 at my local hydroshop). Im trying to blow the other $100 pr so on chems. As itll put my room at $1000 even! Or maybe seed selection. Those are my weaker areas... but that $900 got me everything needed for a 8x10 setup. From meters, pots, seeds, lights, fans, even green lights and mylar and polypropylene plastic, three osc fans, fertilizer, dehimid, ac... I will say, I went to alot of garage sales lmao. Called endless craigslist adds, and was very picky! A few of the items are used, but its gonna be epic!

so i learned one of 2 things u are from the hills and know some good old boys .......or time in a local lock up ...........both works

dude i made a stil out of a beer keg a 1500w heater element for hot water tanks .........the cost of the shine and the run is under 50 bucks total i get 2 gallons of 140 proof (i know how to get it to 170 but need to build a new head for the still to do it ).......i just need a plug and i can run this anywhere the cooling on the worm is sealed so a pump in a 50 gallon cooler with 30 gallons of water and u use 20 gallons of ice to cool it every 2 hours in a 6 hour run total

run the 2 6 gallon mash buckets near the area seal it off make a hole get some tubing run the tube to the middle of your area get a mason jar make hole for tube to go down in get near bottom add water to it and poke some holes in the top of the lid like would for a bug in the jar ....cap it walk away (when u make the holes in things u use food grade silica makes it air tight and safe ...the lids and tubing will seal nice with that)

the shine in trade or out ride sale pays for the whole thing plus about 150 bucks in profit ....winter time 100 bucks a gallon is fair in my area spring summer fall i get 80

if u did that for a whole grow by the time u are done with photo plants u will be in the profit mark from the Co2 ..........just make sure u shoot for 170% str that can be used for fuel making the whole thing legal (fuel additive)............just never give it to anyone like that i cut mine back to 100% for anyone but friends they can have 140% or if it is trade (u will be shocked how many ppl are willing to trade u for moonshine real moonshine it has saved me thousands of dollars in the last 2 years )

i say put your 15 w/w seeds in 3 gal pots and do 12/12 from seed and use both lights. that's what I would do but I don't like growing year round. I try and grow out a good supply then start back up when my supply is getting low again. this way I don't have to run the lights all year.

with WW id go with sog because of how it likes to grow, you know, up one stalk and kinda tall like a christmas tree. or take some of that $420 and get some heavy genetics. really genetics are the key and WW isn't really all that. if you do want some reading that might help you get where you want to be check out vertical growing to maximize your light absorption. might work really good sog style with some home made racks. i really think over 3 lbs with 1600 w is unreachable but good luck.
