Your Favorite Additive??

I was just thinking about Roots Excelurator and how amazing it is so I was wondering what Additive's other people love to use. I'm sure a lot of people have used Roots Excelurator on RIU no matter what line you use. I am considering staying with H&G coco A&B but trying out some different additives so I'd really be thankful for people sharing their secret additive they love to use. I'm also curious about what Bloom Booster people on RIU use. I enjoy Shooting Powder but it is FN expensive per gal getting up to a dollar per gal the last 2 weeks of use.

So basically I made this thread so we can share are favorite additive to use. Like I already said mine is Roots Excelurator

Stonerman enoch- Yeah I don't believe Molasses does much for the plant besides giving Beneficials food. So if you are using it for that then I completely agree. I don't believe it is a great flower additive at all because plants produce enough sugars on its own and doesn't use much of the sugars you give it at all. What I do use is BudXL which is an enzyme that helps the plant use up the sugars it has stored in its stock, leaves etc. I really enjoy that product also and have seen much better results using it than Molasses. I would use Molasses to feed my beneficials but Since that is a part of what Roots Excelurator does I don't need to use it.

Bigv1976 - IDK just think about it a little longer then. Oh NM you will probably never get it. I was implying your smart *** remark wasn't that funny but anyway. BESIDES water what do your plants enjoy you giving them. I should of clarified this I guess I just thought no1 would come up with... Water since water isn't an additive. I believe additive is something the plant doesn't need but will enjoy getting. Just like Base nutes aren't an additive because they need those essential nutrients nearly as much as they need water.

I havent gotten into the whole additive thing I guess. I buy good genetics and let them do their job.

I have used just base nutrients but enjoyed the results of bigger yields and more trich packed buds from using additives. I don't use a sweetner because I believe they take away from the natural taste by adding a certain flavor. I mean you have never used Additives? Interesting you save money but lose yield imo. It is cool you let them do their job but why not help them out? Give em a little kick in the butt, Restart aggressive flowering, start flowering faster, etc.. There are plenty of benefits that I have seen first hand from using additives.

I gotta say dyna-gro bloom and pro tekt. Also i do use MG nutes as well, it works good for me...if im grow ogranically it will be bone meal ! just top dressing and your good to go !

theres no magic secret ! i gotta argee with Bigv1976 about good genetic that will give your money for more yield !

Beneficial bacteria (Aqua Shield, Voodoo Juice, ect.). Roots go CRAZY for them!

Yeah Great White is IMO the best Myco,Trich,Beneficial product. Give it once every 2-3 weeks but once again Roots Excelurator also has all the good beneficials in it which is just another reason it is the ultimate product.

I think we all realize around here that is starts with genetics. You can be the best grower of all time and grow a shitty strain and you look like a bad grower it is simple as that. Let's just assume for a second we have amazing genetics because most of us that have been growing for awhile have that amazing mother they don't plan on getting rid of anytime soon. IMO from my experience Growing without additives is fine and cheaper but it is worth the money to use additives because if that is your thing you will get it back in yield and visual appearance. I wish I had scientific proof to my claim but all I have is my opinion from doing the eye and smoke test. I'm sure it has been done plenty of times but I wonder what the difference would be in THC Content. I'm sure it is marginal if at all because THC Content really does come down to the strain if grown right.

That Crystal Burst is intriguing! Never heard of it but looks like a cheap substitute too Shooting Powder.

I've been wanting to try these for awhile now just to see what they are like. I've heard they are very hot so too be careful but I was talking to the owner of my local hydro store in northern California and she was saying they were illegal. I know for sure she said Gravity was but anyway she still gets them from out of state I guess.

Nice line up Do u use the crystal burst with foilar or thru roots? What does crystal burst have in it that snow storm doesn't? My favorite additive is probably BLOOMBASTIC

I guess if beneficial bacteria is considered an additive then I use additives because I use Myco Blast in all my soil grows.

The term additive just makes me think monosodium glutamate.

I've tried a handful of additives, at first i thogut my yields had suffered when i stopped using them, then i looked into what was what was going on with my grow and the "additives" that is to say blom enhancers etc were doing sweet fuck all, and were essentially just a scam, let alone the rip off overpriced scam that they were. If you insist on a booster, try something like a compost tea etc, the chemical jobs i've tried to date have been of fuck all benefit.

Personally i laugh my ass off at folk who's feeding schedule involves 5-10 different things, i've not noticed much if any real difference in qualioty or yield when looking at a comparable grow setup. The grand majority tends to be people without much of a clue following a nute companies feeding schedule and thinking as such that anything more than the typical A+B is required. The hint is that they are a company existing for profit, they do and say anything to make you buy more of their shit.
