how often do you need to clean your difusers? I had a 4 way pump go out because I was using cheap ones.

i use the 8.5'' stones, but yeah, that's them. they're heavily weighted, so they don't float, and thick, so they don't clog. good product, well worth the extra few dollars.

I've been running the same stones since jan 5th with no issues.
my pump is rated for 99 air stones but only powers like 6 of em, works great
plants are very healthy looking.

What size tubing? I've seen some say 1/4" and others say "standard aquarium" which is 3/16"

I have the 4w one, 240L/hour. Or 63 Gallons/hour. And 2 6' diameter airstones. Ive just rigged it up with one airstone, it seems ok but i was expecting a bit more bubble action. In a 5 gallon bucket, the water on the periphery doesnt seem very aerated...
Is it gonna work, what do you reckon?

I never clean 'em, i toss 'em at harvest and use new ones.

I prefer the $1.80 6" blue stick ones. Active aqua maybe? I throw them away after each grow and clean the tubing for reuse by soaking in bleach and water.

They oxygenate your water by electrolysis, using electricity to split water into oxygen and hydrogen. They are stupid expensive and potentially dangerous if they were used in a sealed environment.Anyone seen/experimented with this?
It's expensive, but might be interesting for some

How about No Stones?
Just a couple 1/4" holes spraying down into the plants res from a 250gph submersible pump
