Your opinion on my girls

Hello fellow smokers/gardeners and 420'ers,

My first two gals,

Supposed to be blue cheese clones I think that's a lie, though the first aromas they're letting off smell great very fruity.

They're only 12 days into flower and they've got huge bud sites already, also they've gone from 11" to 2ft in twelve days is this unusual?

I'm using Canna Coco 70% 30% clay pebbles,

250w hps, 5ltr pots, using bud candy and big bud.

How do you think she is?

They look awesome!!! Nice job!!! Just a quick tip, they'd benefit from a simple tie over and get an even bigger yield. But great job man!!!

Yep, have to agree, nice job. The quick growth is fairly normal IME, yours look a little stretchy (wide spaces between nodes) but could well be genetic. I have had some that will grow 3x in the 2 weeks after flip to flower and others will only gain maybe 30% lol. @a mongo frog has a good point about training as well, pretty much always gets you more in the end if you have the room and don't hurt her ;). I always massage the area I intend to bend between thumb and forefinger until it's easy to squeeze ( you'll usually hear a "pop" ), then bend over careful not to snap. Tons of vids and better descriptions are available lol.

Thanks for the reply dude,

Glad to have some reassurance,

i almost killed them a couple weeks back when I stupidly put them under a 600w HPS in that little space, at that point I was going to give up and just go buy a couple oz but I opted to give them a bit of tlc and see how a 250w faired and they took about 3 days to look fully recovered I'll try find the pics I took of them,can't belive how toughened these plants are!

I'm defiantly going to get some bamboo I've read up touching buds will create bud rot and I'm almost certaintly going to encounter that, Ive also been playing with the idea of PK 13-14 is that worth it?

I don't think pk 13-14 is worth it. Ive used a similar product in the past. From the pics you posted your plants look healthy, id stay on the same course. Healthy green leaves is a way better bloom booster then any pk boost could give. Especially around the 5th, 6th week of bloom when one would be adding the pk 13-14. This is just how I do things bro. Many others have many other thoughts. Take it all in and make a good decision.

Sound advice there man, @guy shout out to you too a lot of YouTube growers what I've watched don't really explain that (I'm hooked on Vader at the min).

I'll update some more and let you guys know what the final product ends up being, I'll also give you both likes once I figure out how to :)

since going into flower myself (im about on week 2) I have had to raise my light 3inches every 2 days....I keep my LED at 12in from canopy tops and they still grow 3in lol. So id say its normal man. specially in flower. the plant can double to triple in size. I had short fat plants.....Now the tops are stretching and the plants look a little weird lol but i started removing some of the yellow or dead leaves from the bottoms and been cleaning them up a bit. Your plants look good man!

Well I thought I was using mostly soil until I checked the bag about a week ago and it said 70% COCO and 30% clay pebbels, to be fair I got a little worried bc I thought coco was for Hydro, but as others have mentioned they're do okay so far so I'm going by if it ain't broke...

My buds look exactly like yours. lol :D We are within a week of each other. Mine is still growing tall like a mofo.......literally 1in a day is not a suprise anymore lol.

i havent read any responses, and just looked at the first of the two pictures to see node intervals. Your doing fine! Good shit man!

LST will help with node spacing because the plant isn't just pushing one big cola. I like to pin them to the side when they are very young, then later loop the meristem over the top with a segment of foam-coated wire that's attached to the pot on both ends. The plant looks like a question mark when I'm done.

Really I'm shocked I actually got them to this stage I almost killed them at two weeks old, I'm in a tiny grow space and stupidly I put them under a 600w HPS, after two days they were Krispy with big holes in the leaves I almost gave up, but I just downgraded to a 250w and its suiting me just fine,

I looked at all sorts kinds of techniques, but really I just want to take it one grow at a time, you know see if I can actually get a decent smoke off a plant before I start learning to train them, also everything is purely personal so I'll be happy with whatever really, I only started growing because I'm fed up of paying 200 a oz 2000 boxes, plus half the sellers are scumbags where I'm at, don't want to put money into their circle
