Has anyone used this light for growing? I got this at a steal price so I’m going to try it but was wondering if anyone else has tried it.

I have a 4x4 ebb n flow table. I bought this light for $200 on Amazon half off reg price. I also purchased 6 full spectrum 4ft led strip lights. I plan to put the strip lights around it to cover the 4x4 table. This will be my first bloom under led, I’ve been using a 315 watt cmh for many years. I’ve been wanting to try led and for the price I couldn’t pass it up..fingers crossed!

Are you using it for veg or flower, or both? If in veg do u do 16/8 or 24 hours of light? Are u using the dimming function? If so what are you at 25% 50 % ?I’ll be using it for bloom only, I have a separate veg room temp controlled both rooms but I don’t use co2. My veg is a 2x4 ebb n flow table, I have a 315 w cmh over head, my clone table is covered by a 100 watt go green 6400 k led. My bloom table had a 315 watt cmh and 2 100 watt 3500k go green led,s. I’m taking them down and replacing with this 400w led and I’m going to put a 42 w 4ft led strip light on the right and left sides. I’ll get pics up probably Friday after it’s all set up. I’ve heard some nutrient changes maybe necessary when switching to led lights. Have you heard this? I’ve always used gh maxi grow for veg and gh maxi bloom for flower,,, I’ve never had any nutrient problems under HID lights or under the cmh. Any info I’m great full for. Thanks

Right now using that light during stretch of my 2 autoflowers in a 3x3 tent at 50% power about 18" from canopy, 20/4 light schedule. I just chopped a closet-grown purple haze auto this past weekend so I'm gonna transfer those 2 autoflowers into that closet after I reset it. 3x3 tent will be used to scrog a single photoperiod where I'll be using the YH400B full-cycle in a couple weeks. I'm still a newb but I have a couple decent grows under my belt. Right now I'm using ProMix HP and MegaCrop 2 Part, only have experience with LED lighting. My bag of MegaCrop should be empty by the time these 2 autoflowers finish and then I'll be switching to Jacks321 for the scrog photo tent grow under the YH400B. I want to try Blumats with the Jacks321 for this next tent grow, still doing research on best practices tho...

Mine seems to work really nice, don’t have plants under it yet, I’m a week away from cloning. Probably a month before they go under this light for bloom. Any problems with the lights? My rellassy light, half the light wouldn’t turn on. However Amazon replaced it in 3 days. I like the light just wish I didn’t have problems. Never had problems with hps! I have a 400 watt magnetic ballast that’s 35 years old and still works like the day I bought it. Now the yuanhui light just went out completely great light, but only 4 months of use and it’s out. Service on it ended a month ago, so I emailed the company directly, hopefully they will replace it. Thank god I always have my old trusty HPS as a backup. Let me know if any of you have these lights, how long you’ve had them and how you like them.

I did finish 1 round of plants under the yuanhui I did not use the side lighting, didn’t need it that light covers a 4x4 great, I ended up getting 1.4 grams per watt, I was expecting better but it was my first time growing under led start to finish.

Dang, sorry to hear that. I'm about to finish flowering in maybe 2 more weeks, then setting up another full cycle grow asap. No issues with the YH400B for me so far.

Ok, they are sending me a new, upgraded driver. I guess they had problems w the original drivers on the 400 . Like I said I really like the light, I’m happy they are replacing the driver after 4 months. I should get it in 3-5 buissness days.
