Trump has a completely new problem with CoV.19

Here's an interesting question: If the senate got hit hard with this virus (the place is nearly a graveyard) and a lot of senators got sick for a long time and couldn't make the vote, or were quarantined, could the democrats seize control of the senate, at least temporarily? Even elect a new speaker?

The capitol hill potential casualty list, those at highest risk and who will have the greatest concern. Here is a list starting with the youngest.

10 Oldest Members of the United States Congress

Congress is made up of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Both houses of Congress have an age requirement: it is at least 25 years of age for the House and at least 30 years old for the Senate. While these age requirements are generally low, most members of Congress are nearly senior citizens. As of October 2018, the average age of the 115th Congress (the current Congress) is 57.8 years for the House of Representatives and 61.8 years for the Senate.

Although those averages may seem old, all of the members of Congress on this list are in their 80s! Only one of them has announced that they plan to retire at the end of the current term, which means that the rest of them are only going to grow older while they continue to serve. This list contains current members of Congress in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. We have previously covered the Oldest Senators Ever as well as the Oldest U.S. Congressmen (House of Representatives) ever. Some of the people on this list are also on those lists as well.

10. Pat Roberts (April 20, 1936 – Present)
Current Age: 82 years old in 2018
Current House: Senate (formerly in the House of Representatives)
Political Party: Republican
State: Kansas
Years in Office: January 3, 1997 – Present; January 3, 1981 – January 3, 1997 (House of Representatives Kansas’s 1st District) (total of 37 years)

This might be anti Iranian propaganda, but it appears to show conditions inside Iran and it looks grim. Those folks better use disinfectant on their religious icons if they wanna kiss and lick em. This is what an uncontained spread and poor public health look like with this disease. It's also a warning about the damage an incompetent government can do to its own people, religious lunatics don't help either, does this situation sound familiar?

Fauci on shutting down coronavirus epicenters: 'Anything's possible'

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said Sunday that he doubted the U.S. would have to impose measures as “draconian” as total shutdowns ordered in some regions in northern Italy to halt the spread of coronavirus, but said “anything is possible.”

“We have to be realistic. I don’t think it would be as draconian as nobody in or nobody out. But if we continue to get cases like this, particularly at the community level, there will be what we call 'mitigation,' where we have to essentially do social distancing, keep people out of crowded places, take a look at seriousness, do you really need to travel, and I think it’s particularly important among the most vulnerable,” Fauci said on “Fox News Sunday.”

"You don’t want to alarm people, but given the spread we’ve seen anything is possible and that’s why we’ve got to be prepared to take whatever action is appropriate to contain and mitigate the outbreak," he added.

Fauci also addressed reports that health experts on the White House’s coronavirus task force had been overruled on the recommendation that elderly people refrain from air travel.

“Here’s the deal- no one overruled anybody about saying this so let me say it loud and clear now,” Fauci said. “Right now I’m telling the American people based on everything that’s agreed upon in the task force if you are an individual with an underlying condition, particularly an elderly person with an underlying condition, you should start to distance yourself from the risk and above all don’t get on a cruise ship.”

He also addressed the specific case of the Grand Princess cruise ship, which will dock in the port of Oakland after being turned away from San Francisco.

“I recommended very strongly in our meetings that we get those people off that ship, we don’t want to have a repeat of what we saw at the Diamond Princess [in the port of Yokohama] where the ship became almost a hotspot of transmission, I feel strongly about getting them off there,” Fauci said.

Appearing on NBC's "Meet the Press," Fauci emphasized the risk to elderly and otherwise vulnerable people, telling host Chuck Todd, "I think right now something that’s important that I hope the American people appreciate is that the risk of getting into trouble with this infection is overwhelmingly weighted towards people with underlying conditions and the elderly.

"You don’t want to go to a massive gathering, particularly if you’re a vulnerable person," he added.

This isn't what anybody says when the situation is normal.

Still, I doubt anybody would be allowed to consider this in a battleground state. A safe blue state, Trump might gloat and his Christian followers would call it God's wrath.

It will soon ravage the red states, they generally have poor health care systems and less public resources than the PNW or California, besides, Donald is gonna be holding rallies in them, like measles parties. He will leave a trail of misery across the south and anywhere else stupid enough to let him in. Donald is gonna pay for this one, one way or another.

I guess they have your mom's home on lock down by now, or will soon, good luck.

We'll gut this one out. Done what I can, now it's time to find out what happens.

Joe: It Is Critical Trump Get His Arms Around This Virus | Morning Joe | MSNBC

The panel discusses the president's bids to downplay the severity of the coronavirus outbreak and the need for the president to be realistic about the dangers from the virus. Aired on 03/09/2020.

America will do OK, if Trump doesn't kill you first, Jesus Christ, they got to take the gun outta Trump's hands, if humanity doesn't get their attention, I guess the markets falling into the abyss might. More Americans (and Canadians!) are scared shitless over this because Trump is in charge, than they are concerned about the virus! Add 401K and retirement income woes, expect to be kicked while yer down, if the economy goes down the tubes millions will be unemployed and lose their health care insurance.

Trump: "Don't believe the doctors, scientists and experts, they are all fakes and frauds, trust me people, it's all a plot to get me. All those scientists are democrats (he told the truth!) and part of the plot to make me look bad. Everybody who wants testing can get it since yesterday and we have this virus thing contained, the numbers are dropping as we speak, the markets are doing better than ever!" Nothing to see here folks move on, SNAFU.

Take ten deep breaths of cannabis...........lolz.
Seems totally racist and sexist to have two old rich crackers as your nominees.........what's up with that?

Just had a puff after a bit of gardening, I see ya still got a problem with reality, just like Donald. Donald ain't no spring chicken ya know, but he is a moron and in a very vulnerable age group, like many senators... I'll bet yer looking forward to the oversight hearings into this one, provided you survive the virus, it kills the young and pretty too, but older folks are taking it the most seriously, they vote by the way, in large numbers too. Do ya think that Donald will refuse to release documents and order witnesses not to appear before congress? I mean this is important shit, folks will want answers and Donald fucked up bigly. The senate is ancient, they have a lot of public contact and are ground zero for this epidemic, you might even lose a few, think they will want answers too?

Why though?
I see you have no answers, neither does Donald, only bullshit, but he's choking on it now. The American response was criminally negligent and Trump is personally responsible for most of it as far back as 2018 when he fired the Obama Pandemic chain of command and never replaced it. The list goes on and will get even longer with oversight.

If a scientist or civil servant was responsible for the testing fuckup, they would have been thrown under the bus long ago, they are hiding something and protecting someone, who? Donald will throw anybody under the bus, anybody, how come no one is under it yet?
