Alrighty, lets go over my setup shall me.
Following in the footsteps of uncle Al b fuct, I'm running a 4 stage, ebb & flow, Sea of green.
In the flowering room I run 4 2'x4' tables under 1800 watts of high pressure sodium lighting. The 1000 watt lamp is inside an open ended cooltube, powered by a 6" elicent centrifugal fan, which also acts as an exhaust for the room. The 2 400 watters are open to the air.
I run my plants 12/12 from clone, 21 per table and take in a harvest every 15-20 days depending on strain.
My medium of choice is hydroton, expanded clay pellets that can be washed and reused, which i'm always a fan of.
pardon the mess
I used to cover the pots up with panda film to keep light off the roots, but after some experimentation, I decided to ditch that, so far, no adverse effects from the light.
I use a 400watt metal halide over my mothers, whom also reside in a 2'x4' flood table.
They provide me with all the cuttings I need.
Which I then feed into the PT cloner. Which sits under a standard t12 shoplight, with daylight bulbs in it.
Usually takes about 7-10 days to form decent roots, I take them for 2 weeks and have a nice root system to start with.
Further aerocloning discussion takes place
here.
