Im glad to get all these responses about this topic, thank you all! But I think im just gonna keep using neem during veg...and then during flowering im gonna get a shitload of praying mantis's...also ...like I said, I have faith in these lizards I see grown ones and tiny baby ones, so they must be thriving:) ...they just love my property for some reason....
I use the praying mantis and they do keep the population down. Last week we found 3 caterpillars in our garden and was forced to spray the Safer Caterpillar Killer, now I've lost the mantis population and still have caterpillars? Uggh! :spew:Almost forgot, how goes the Durban plant did it sex yet?

Hell yeah Zig, what the doc said, that durban is going to be beasty. Best of luck with your pest problems. So far so good for me as pests go. Just started seeing my pistils last week, so I guess now is the time to keep a watchful eye out. Keep up the awesome work bro, it will def pay off in oct.

Use a magnifying glass. My last sativa to show gender the pistals were so small. In the begining the Hijak was small too. If the calyx has a stem its a boy.
Yeah but like I said these durbans are odd, even Fdd said so...they do have a lil stem at the nodes, but no sacs, just more tiny fan leaves...anyways i'll continue to look, but im really leaning towards female for the big durban..I think I saw super small pistils like you said....

I appreciate your help Greenhorn, but my durbans just dont look like normal pre-sexes...Ive seen plenty of males, so I know what males look like when the sacs are just beginning to form, and it doesnt look like it on my durbans, but , also there are no pistils that I can be sure of, it is very weird... but dont worry fellas, flowering is coming soon, and they will be forced to definitively show sex ;)
