A) martin defending himself against zimmerman
or
b) martin assaulting zimmerman
no one knows who started the altercation and never will. it could have been assault by martin, it could have been self defense by martin. no one knows.
however, your bloated, ignorant ass ASSUMES that it has to be assault.
like i've been saying all along, the actions of the police in letting zimm walk only make sense if you treat martin with the presumption of guilt, like red the douche is doing.
self defense would have been going to a safe place and waiting for the police. by chasing after the kid, which we know happened by zimm's own words, zimm went on the offense and loses all claim to self defense.

zimm could have tried to detain or hold martin to prevent an asshole from getting away, in which case martin would have been perfectly justified in defending himself.
