(CNN) - Some members of Sen. Rand Paul’s loyal group of Libertarian followers were outraged Tuesday after the Kentucky Republican said he would be fine with a drone strike killing an American citizen robbing a liquor store with a gun.
“We shouldn’t be willy-nilly, looking into their backyard at what they’re doing. But if there is a killer on the loose in a neighborhood, I’m not against drones being used to search them out, heat seeking devices being used,” Paul said in an interview on Fox Business Network.

“If someone comes out of a liquor store with a weapon and $50 in cash, I don’t care if a drone kills him or a policeman kills him,” he added later.

If you actually listened to the interview, he said if someone is actively posing a threat to others, we should use technology to take them out. We shouldn't preemptively stalk people with drones. How did you come up with that thread title? He was agreeing that the drone search was appropriate in finding the terrorist as he was an active threat.

You realise the cops use helicopters already right? He said he is against them being used passively, but why not use them to engage an active threat.

What exactly is the difference in your mind between a flying machine with a crew and a flying machine with no onboard crew?

Who was it signed the NDAA btw? Too busy hugging his nuts to notice?

I'm afraid you don't understand the camera laws. It was decided in the so called, Jane Mansfield case. You can stand outside a restaurant on public property and film her sitting there. No AUDIO.

So, don't fly the light planes either I guess? Did you know the skies are already patrolled and all the ground features photographed by maned aircraft? EPA, power lines and law enforcement. No Audio.

It's all photographed from space, down to facial details.

I can fly my little camera drone up to the second floor from the sidewalk and look in your window. It is not un-lawful to photograph each other in self-rule. There are just certain limits.

I heard some bonehead the other day say the Privilege was not in the Constitution.

Fools. We have a very detailed Constitution, that grants rights to govt, not the other way, just get over it.

It's our Lord or the Flies Island and we run it ourselves. It ain't as easy as blame the King, I'll tell you that.
