Nobody that is serious can argue that climate change is not happening. Climate change has happened since the earth was formed billions of years ago.
The debate is whether man has a significant effect and thus some sort of massive redistribution of wealth from developed countries to developing countries is in immediate need to prevent them from using fossil fuels.
I have said time and time again we need to learn how to adapt to climate change, not be so arrogant as to have decided we can stop it.

The idea that adaptation to all earthbound problems is the wise course of action is contradictory to the rational and intellectual mind we were given in our own evolution. Calling concern arrogance and espousing fatalism is your way but, many are still unconvinced.

In humankind, our evolution is largely to do with our ability to problem solve, act cooperatively, act preventatively as well as adapt. If adaptation is just a neglect for our higher thought process then yes. I see problems that are denied attention and the excuse is to simply evolve? I don't buy it.....seems lazy to me.

I see where your going with this now but to me, the logic is flawed and counterproductive.
First you would have to have proof that man has a significant effect on climate change, then a scientific law that reverses that affect.
