Best place in CO for clones?

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for dispensaries to go to for clones? I worry about bringing home bugs from certain dispensaries, as it seems like everyone online says it will happen. I've had good luck at the healing canna in co springs & they have certain strains I want (flo)

I also found out a dispensary I like in Denver (lightshade labs) has clones for 6 bucks. With that cheap I worry I may bring home bugs or something? Seems like they have good genetics based off their end product.

Thanks in advance, +Rep for help

Medicine Man and Laconte's, from my personal experience. Tiny clones at Medicine Man, and Laconte's had bad customer service with a poor selection, unless you reserve some (I never bothered). I've only ever had gnats, but they may have come from my soil, for all I know. Some white mold too, but that was unrelated to the clones and easily fixed (it was due to moving the grow). I wouldn't pay more than 15 for one, and I'd have to be sure of it at that price.

Tiny clones are easy to deal with if you're willing to grow them. Never buy something if you aren't sure of its roots and you should be fine; tiny-clone wise.

Bugs though. I guess maybe I've been lucky, but I don't see all the reason for the fuss. It's pretty easy to use the correct product to kill whatever infestation. Also, unless you have a thousand plants, it doesn't usually cost very much to fix whatever problem (the kind of weed you're growing should be worth 400 an OZ, after all). From ladybugs to neem oil and chemical-based pesticides, there are solutions. With a small grow, it isn't too difficult to go a little overkill with the product if you need to; make sure every individual plant is clear of the infestation and what not. If you do see mold on the clone, don't buy it.

That's definitely not a fail-safe philosophy, but avoid conditions that produce mold and the spores shouldn't be able to do their thing anyway (why I figure I've been lucky). Quarantine until you're sure, if you're worried about it. Either way, by the time the clone becomes a full-fledged, flower-laden plant, you should have had plenty of time to fix whatever problem.

If it's not worth fixing the problem, the clone must not have been worth the 10 or so dollars (why are you growing weed anyway?).

Smoke, smoke, and keep smoking the ganja. You'll find what you like. A lot of dispensaries sell clones. Some don't always have them in stock, but they'll sell them from time to time (ask the budtender). Grow what you like and, once again, smoke, smoke and keep smoking the ganja.

I guess I'm saying don't overthink it. See all that up there? I've overthought this post (wouldn't editing be redundant at this point?). All because of my damn homegrown. This is what my philosophy has brought me.

Oh yeah, I suppose I should reiterate that I didn't have any bug or mold infestations from Laconte's or Medicine Man.

Good luck!

Medicine Man has given me nothing but garbage. Wank ass dutch feminized genetics and cali conmen imitation clone only strains passed off as the real deal. I also got thrips from them, which I had never even seen before inside in CO. LaConte's has been better for me, as has Karmaceuticals, if they are still doing clones. Of course, the best way to get clones in CO has always been, and will always be, to find someone with good genetics and ask them for clones.

Thank you, I appreciate the informative post :)

So essentialy what I'm getting from this, it doesn't really matter where you go as long as you observe the clones on sight to make sure no major issues & take the prevenative measures? (Neem oil, or some type of pesticide/fungicide) I appreciate the not over 15 advice, 20 is just rediculous. Seems like clones cost more in the springs on average.

ive had gnats before too! I assumed it was from the soil or when I was carrying wood up the deck. Maybe it was the clones? At any rate, at least gnats aren't too harmful & easy to take care of.

Thank you all once again, I hope you have a wonderful day today!

Finding someone will generally be a much better bet rather than going to a dispensary? Seems like alot some ppl have good experiences at one place, & others bad at the very place. I've had a good experience at the healing canna, but read where other people have not. I've heard very good things about karmaseuticals, never really any bad. If I make a trip up to denver ill have to check out there, medecine man & lacontes - aren't they a "clone bar" specifically focusing on clones? Might have to check them out - I like when people have the clones in the see through cups, that way you can examine the roots & everything. Thank you both once again.

Happy tokeing :bigjoint:

I've seen the clone guys. Is the clone store in denver? Ill have to check it out!

Hey I have a question: Does quality & yield go hand in hand? Like for example-If you grow the same strain (let's say blueberry) & get some genetics that produce very good quality from one dispensary, but produce a lower quality from the other place, will the better quality generally be higher yielding or the lower quality? Or does it just depend soley on the genetics?

Of course different people are guna think different strains are the best but I dont think a blanket statement that you get the best pot from low yeilding plants is accurate at all.
I have a hemporer at the shop that is absolute fire AND it yiields like a mother too.

I agree. There's a place in the springs that has amazing product that the guy told me is his hhighest yielding too which is really cool. But if you are talking about one specific strain, with different genetics, will the higher or lower quality one yield the highest?
