Well, I just joined tonight. Read some stuff, introduced myself in the proper section.

Then I come to politics as its a long time till growing season. This is the best section of any forum. And as a person who leans Republican I read this thread first. It is some kind of joke?>

once you meet some of our charming, right wing members, you'll see that it's pretty far from a joke.

So this is a racist website?
depends on what you consider racism.

one member here who claims he is not racist says we need to defend REAL AMERICA from the multicultural wasteland of bullshit and believes in european cultural superiority as well as having conversations about how n***gers are "like that everywhere".

one member here who claims he does not have a racist bone in his body is vehemently opposed to civil rights, baselessly calls obama an "affirmative action president" and was a member of an actual white supremacy group that popped up a few months back (which i fought to have banned here: https://www.rollitup.org/make-your-requests/669953-petition-ban-holocaust-deniers-white.html).

one member who claims no one would ever call him racist mocked the adversity that blacks faced before civil rights (those poor, defenseless blacks) and objects to civil rights because racists might spit in a black person's food.

one member here says that "the truth is that black males are more inclined to criminality", but when trapped later on claimed that he never said that blacks have a propensity to crime (i know, a propensity and an inclination to do something are the same thing).

several members here advocate executing illegal immigrants if they do not leave within 72 hours.

i consider all of these things to be severely racist and am not shy to call it out as such, but the people who say these things claim there is nothing racist about it.

what do you think?

Well, notice I said I tended to lean Republican. I have been repelled a little as of late, and by late I mean the past two decades or so, by the turn it would appear has taken place in the course my party seems to be charting.

After the political realignment of the south into my favored party, all was well in Reagan land. But when the Neo-Cons finally took power, culminating in the 2000 election of GWB, the racists came out of the closet, so to speak.

I'm not so much leaving the Republican part, as the Republican party is leaving me. I abstained in this past election, the Democrats do not appeal to me. Although I cannot say that there is anything I know of that would lead me to believe the Romney is/was racist in anyway, the general attitude of Republicans in most places tend to put me off.

As to the opinions of others you espoused, I reserve judgment. I can't say I agree with them as you state them, but you and they are obviously not of like mind and I am not sure I wish to judge someone based on what their opponent says about them.

i recall one particularly salient, nasty moment in the campaign that made me shake my head.

"NO ONE'S EVER ASKED TO SEE MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE!"

i'm sorry, i tune out dumbasses. old habits.

what was the question again?
How do
you know the multiculturalism you advocate for is part of the
problem? The USA is one of the most hated
countries, and we're the only nation which takes
so much pride in this utopia of yours called
multiculturalism. When you introduce a new idea, at first people tend to resist. It could be that, or the idea is wrong. I think the first thing that needs to go is our outdated constitution. The whole idea is so different from the thought of today that the Supreme Court has to deem health care a tax. That right there is an example of the guard thought not with the times.
