thank you..bush!
EDIT: a standard deduction is for the expense of your life during the year..are you saying i've not spent monies on healthcare, rx and so on..how is that "free" money?..this is why it's a deduction..it costs money for people to live even poor people..we like to use toilet paper too when we wipe our asses.

Bush? You did mean to say thank you Obama, eh? The REAL unemployment rate is something like 33%. Folks have dropped out of the market, gave up, quit looking so they're not counted any more. If you want to believe the numbers coming out of this crooked ad-menstruation then you have at it.
go back to watching fox.

Pinworm,

I'm assuming you are now insured under Obamacare. Can you share with us what your annual deductible is before the insurance kicks in?
Not so sure as Obama's numbers is fitting for his lack of moral fiber, they lie. Even the Washington Post spilled the beans on his inflated numbers, as I said previously.

"Don't believe President Barack Obama's claim that 6 million people have signed up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act, warns Glenn Kessler, author of the influential Fact Checker blog in The Washington Post.

Kessler told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV that the figure is based on combining a figure of 2.1 million for people who have selected plans on state and federal exchanges, and 3.9 million for Medicaid.

"The 3.9 million from Medicaid — that's essentially everyone who signed up for Medicaid in October and November," Kessler told Malzberg on Friday.

"But it turns out its two months of numbers having to do with everyone who ever signed up for Medicaid. It really doesn't tell you anything about how well the Affordable Care Act is doing."

"[It's] somewhat similar to saying you put something in your shopping cart at Amazon and that's what they're counting, all of the things that are in the shopping cart. They don't know how many people actually pushed the button and ordered the item."

I always hate it when a perfectly good discussion ends up with name-calling. It only divides and serves no purpose.

"Real" unemployment is around 13%....still too high, and it's a record number of people that have given up looking for work. Decent paying manufacturing jobs that have gone overseas will not return. Corporations have learned to run much leaner, and have replaced people with machines. Uncertainty in our nation's long-range economic health has slowed new investments in expanding current businesses and start-ups.

Small businesses are faced with ever-increasing regulations, taxes, and fees.....that are discouraging new business start-ups and expansions. My business has decreased by almost 50% over the past four years, and one of the reasons I'm growing weed to supplement the loss of income.

The rose-colored federal economic indicators are a best-case scenario full of wishful thinking and smoke and mirrors. At the current rate of deficit spending, by the year 2020 a trillion dollars a year will be spent on just the interest on the federal debt. To give you some perspective, our government's entire discretionary spending is about $1 trillion...that covers building road, bridges, federal retiree's pensions, the VA, etc. etc....for which we'll either have to raise taxes by a shitload....and/or cut medicare and medicaid drastically. Speaking of Medicare, part B will be out of money by 2017, and the rest of Medicare will be under-funded by 2022. The only reason it's not happening now is that we're borrowing a ton to keep it going now. Keep in mind that baby-boomers will instead contributing to the federal revenues and become a draw once they hit 65 years old.

There you have it.....reality.

FOX breaks it down and provides the facts. Ever watched "The Five" on FOX. Excellent production, great well informed hosts, one of the most popular and informative on cable. Very entertaining and educational except for Bob Beckel who makes a fool of his liberal self every time he opens his mouth. The other hosts are quick to put him in his place.
oh, i see the problem.

to put it mildly, you are a horrible consumer of information. to state it more directly, you must literally be retarded.
